'Without any hindrance of mind no fear exists.' Noticing how the mind causes suffering..but life will never be total bliss, free from any suffering, I think..just from mind-caused variety...which is a lot I guess..
Coincidentally, listening now to Joseph Campbell ... "follow your bliss." He is describing suffering as included in compassion... no suffering, no compassion ... "All life is sorrowful and so is love" he is saying... wound healed only by that which delivers the blow. Reminds me of this morning's fear and courage discussion.

total bliss in the middle of suffering and pleasure alike, could that be possible? Why not?
It would point to a bliss that is not limited by the same restrictions as pleasure and pain, bliss beyond a limited framework. Is there such bliss? I guess we're all trying to find out . . . each in our own way . . . genuine and free . . . and together. edited 05:02, 8 Mar 2012
