Intl. Women's Day and a full moon (Thank you Eden for the reminder), day 80 on date 08. Appreciate Storm's leading a Karuna/Metta practice at this morning's session, where he also noted clearing of visual partitions between Kira and Kuan Yin.

And me... reading into everything, into nothing... noting the darkest before dawn phenomena of throwing up hands then finding all just fine... some deeper acceptance pointed to in that. edited 17:48, 8 Mar 2012

Yes...it's all a flowing changing event, and do we have to decide whether it is suffering or bliss and want one and not the other? Or cling to one and avoid the other as I seem to do often...to notice the feelings of dissatisfaction and preferences and stay with them...all just experiences...

During my morning practice it hit me how many seeming certainties we rely on in our adult life, and how a young child may see the world in such a different way, so much more scary and exciting, both. How to regain that young child's beginner's mind while also retaining the mild wisdom that can come with the years? As always, a matter of balance . . . .
