First day, time change, outdoors in the sunny and cool, time for Tai Chi and begin logging about it. I mentioned to Eliza the other day, it's not as though my practice has stopped, just my blogging about it. Time to add that to my daily routine as there have been times I have missed this group. Much can happen in 83+ days. Much can stay the same too. The bird and creaking tree limbs were with me today along with the wind and the sun. Nice to be back.
Welcome back, Steve! We've had a dwindling group here, typically 4 or so daily for a while. I've enjoyed these two 99-day rides tremendously, and it has been an interesting challenge to keep writing here every day. Even so, I think I'll stop at the end of the current ride, in a couple weeks. Each experiment, fascinating as it is, naturally has a beginning and an end.
Nice to see you back Steve. We had such beautiful moving ceremonies today commemorating the Japanese disaster, led by a young Japanese girl at Perfect Paradise Island. We can be so helpless to the power of nature though we think we are mastering it.
Stevanaia in the wind and sun: all that remains, all that goes! Just a few more days here to share the conundrum, if not acorn, of reality within impermanence, from creaking branches to plate tectonics.
Again checking in, morning time, following day. Attended the presentation with Zen yesterday... helpless is the word... asked myself "Where is Life, and am I paying attention?"
