Ah, thanks, Wester! Nice to read about concrete actions like prostrations. Just dropped by Storm's PaB session where we briefly talked about symbols and signs, using actions rather than explanations or analysis.
And thanks, Eos, how interesting, yes, one minute silence for memorial purposes, and then to turn that to the living, what an idea . . . one minute silence for future generations that have to live with our ecological mistakes? Might go viral . . .

Walking back home in silence yesterday night, still enchanted by Kurt Weil's wonderful songs, appreciating the presence of appearance of a thin layer of snow on the world and a shiny coat of ice on tiny branches of bare trees, synapses fired by beauty. #timestamp
Would love to report that I am just fine with giving up coffee but the truth is, I hear myself talking myself out of it already, even though I can see the ways in which it would be beneficial. I'm surprised to learn that it isn't the morning coffee I love most, but the afternoon coffee... the little kick about right now. :)
When I consider however, that I woke this morning with a depth of, well I'll call it thought, that allowed me to see a kind of pattern as though a visual music was being allowed to change phases... lingering which seemed benefitted by the lack of "must get coffee," I guess I should see this through for a bit.
Also wanted to say Thank you Wester, for sharing the nuts/bolts of your practice and noticing of patterns too. I don't use the word depression often, yet there are ways in which I relate and appreciate your matter-of-factly articulating these things in reports. edited 21:18, 2 Feb 2012
RL meditation group. Such a cold night and only 3 of us there. But important to make the effort to support a good practice I think. edited 00:23, 3 Feb 2012
