What can I add to yesterday's entries? They are the bee's knees!
Today I continued my practice of looking for frustration/friction, anything that deviates from wu-wei. The more I looked, the more I found, and I enjoyed viewing each one as signposts to drop/stop and remind myself of the open empty nature of everything. Friction can act like a natural alarm clock. :-)

A humble bumblebee's bee's knees business: one hour walk by the frozen river on slippery ground, energy exercices and visualizations, 20 minutes meditation. Lunch, then writing this and I'm about to start working on my book. It's 13:22. #timestamp

Holidays are the worst times for finding ten undisturbed minutes. Waking up before the kids do means missing much more than ten minutes of sleep, during the day there is no time, and the evening is often filled with some kind of (social) activity.

Standing meditation in the evening. A moment of quiet in a chaotic evening.

Was at RL meditation meeting. 20mins sitting, 10 mins walking meditation, 30 mins sitting, then a reading and discussion. We don't have a teacher. Starting to feel inadequacy of discussion...it can seem so repetitive...and everyone has their own ideas they seem to cling to...but so do I, I guess. But.... I just don't know...

Sitting in the chair upright first thing this morning. Late evening able to go for a night walk through the snow. Regular pace. Feeling the feet squishing, crunching, sliding step by step. The coolness of the air - below zero but I have a good warm coat. Ears slightly hissing. Going forward steadily, through outer and through inner worlds constantly emerging and unsticking. All my activities are echoing there. The greater fullness, there, and in the still greater there of this our playground.

So nice to open the page to pictures... felt the chill! Last few days watching my 'speed'... including in dreaming where I was a passenger in a car that was going too fast to make it down the sudden appearance of stairs. :) So for instance, I have had this window open for about fifteen minutes... wrote a sentence and could have pushed through to just finish and move on but hm, why not linger... then got up to wash my face, brush teeth, "come back", stop for a moment to see posture, breathing. Bee lighting on flowers... edited 01:35, 6 Jan 2012

A variety of sensations as I read and look; brilliant glistening crackle and crunch of Eden's and Eos' walks; Zen's feelings of frustation and doubt and wester's need for time and space; Eliza's out-of-control fast fall and Pema's frictional sign posts. A symphony of sensations and feelings.
I have been slowly reading and re-reading the first chapter of Time, Space and Knowledge, wondering whether I could ever learn to refocus my outlook and find more Great Space. Something to meditate on perhaps, and to discuss at PaB? edited 07:15, 6 Jan 2012
