Ewan Bonham: well, i had two points:
Ewan Bonham: sharon brought up the points from the book..
Ewan Bonham: pema's book..
Ewan Bonham: let yourself be seen..
Ewan Bonham: And ...there is not much to see..
Ewan Bonham: wondered how these went together..
Bruce Mowbray: ?
Ewan Bonham: seems like a paradox.
SophiaSharon Larnia: they dont really, it was just what popped in my head as I was reading
Ewan Bonham: oh...
Bruce Mowbray: I've also read the section on letting yourself be seen . . . I was substituting the word "held" or "embraced" for the word "seen."
Lucinda Lavender: Allowing oneself to be seen...gives a focus outside oneself is seems.
Bruce Mowbray: This is a contemplative art, I think.
Ewan Bonham: oh, that seems to fit..
Lucinda Lavender: just holding a space...in whatever form we have evolved to be
Lucinda Lavender: without doing any thing really
Calvino Rabeni: I was thinking, this approach would work pretty well to be a "seer" for those who are there to be "seen"
Calvino Rabeni: So, a good time may be had by all :)
Ewan Bonham: ??? calv
Bruce Mowbray: A passive mode? or actively willing yourself into the role of "seers"?
SophiaSharon Larnia: its multidimensional, I'm really trying stay on task :)
Calvino Rabeni: I found one way to learn about multidimensionality is to look at Paradise's dress

Ewan Bonham: by a presence without words..
Bruce Mowbray: or just relaxing into allowing oneself to be seen by Whatever sees..
Ewan Bonham: That fits for me as well, Bruce..
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Ewan, it's a radical shift from how we normally think of our presence in the world.
Calvino Rabeni: @Bruce, seems to me a little activeness in that regard could spice things up, if there's an existing practice of "not seeing"
Calvino Rabeni: That is, letting go of trying not to see - the "non-doing" way of being active

Bruce Mowbray: by the forest, by the world, by the galaxy...
