Appreciating the presence of appearances: leaping cats, flowers, puffins and the presence of appearance of a tentative conversation about the presence of all that appears

    Eden Haiku: "/9 l0w

Eden Haiku: Good morning Bruce :)

    Eden Haiku: "/9 low

    Bruce Mowbray: Good morning, Eden.

Eden Haiku: Hi Bruce! How are you?

Bruce Mowbray: I am well thanks. And you?

Eden Haiku: Yes, trying to lower the fountain...It's /9 lower?

Bruce Mowbray: Just /9 low, I think.

Bruce Mowbray: But it looks like mission accomplished now.

    Eden Haiku: Ah, yes thanks.:))

    Eden Haiku: "/9 fog

Bruce Mowbray: I'm noticing that Aphrodite seems to have left her cats.

Bruce Mowbray: and also some flowers.

Eden Haiku: Oh, I was wondering...

Eden Haiku: Yes, someone left pots of flowers too...

Bruce Mowbray: Several pots of flowers and at least two cats.

Eden Haiku: The cats are cute :)

Eden Haiku: Was taking a walk with my cat this morning. She follows me and leaps like that!

Bruce Mowbray: Ooops, now I see a bird off to my right.

Bruce Mowbray: Two puffins - also from Aphrodite.

Eden Haiku: A bird yes, without a owner....

Bruce Mowbray: The puffins belong to Aph.

Eden Haiku: Looking up puffins in dictionnary...

Bruce Mowbray: During my morning sit today, I read Pema's new chapter for the second time.

    Bruce Mowbray: Pema's

Eden Haiku: Yes, I did too. Any insights about appreciating the presence of appearances ?

Bruce Mowbray: I sort of used the phrase "time presenting the appearance of presence. . . "

Bruce Mowbray: and then opened myself to appreciation. . .

Bruce Mowbray: Used the phrase and the opening as a sort of mantra.

Eden Haiku: Maybe you're right. I read it twice too but I need to read it a few more times...

Bruce Mowbray: or it should have been ("time presenting appearance. . . ."

Bruce Mowbray: and then appreciating that.

Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I will also read it a few more times.

Eden Haiku: Saw it as "appreciating" whatever time brings up...

Eden Haiku: It's easy to get lost in the wordsmithing...

Bruce Mowbray: Exactly, appreciating the inner feelings, appreciating the presence of the appearance of the garbage. . . Appreciating the appearance of whatever Time presents.

Eden Haiku: So now I appreciate the fact that we are both trying to talk about it....

Eden Haiku: Yes, beyond likes and dislikes.

Bruce Mowbray: Yes, easy to get lost in my words... but necessary - for me to get into the practice - to memorize that word sequence.

Appreciating the presence of appearance of Bolonath's and Zen's arrival

    Bolonath Crystal: namaste :)

    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Bolonath.

    Eden Haiku: Namaste Bolonath!

Eden Haiku: What an honour to meet you in person :))

    --BELL--

Bolonath Crystal: i didn't want to interrupt...

Eden Haiku: Oh, you are very welcome. We were discussing Pema's new chapter about Time.

    Bolonath Crystal: oh :)

    Bolonath Crystal listens curiously

Bruce Mowbray: Quite all right, Bolanath. Yes, the new chapter is amazing, indeed.

Bruce Mowbray: Let me see if I can get it right this time:

Eden Haiku: Giving you the link for a later read. It's pretty intense :)

    Bolonath Crystal: :)

Bruce Mowbray: "appreciating the appearance of what Time presents." There, how's that?

    Bruce Mowbray: Good day, Zen.

    Zen Arado: Hi All

    Bolonath Crystal: namaste zen :)

    Zen Arado: gassho

    Eden Haiku: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/PaB_Books/Magic_of_Time/4._Appreciation

    Eden Haiku: Hello Zen ;)

Eden Haiku: Yes Bruce, that's good.

Eden Haiku: Maybe we can stay with "appreciation" for now :)

Eden Haiku: I appreciate the fact we have something like a topic :)

Bruce Mowbray: Appreciation. Yes, and what a topic!

Eden Haiku: Yes, easy to appreciate when we like, less easy when we dislike :)

    Zen Arado: 'appreciate your life'

Zen Arado: I think it was Mazeumi said that often

Eden Haiku: Ah, yes appreciate whatever comes up...

Bruce Mowbray: I was telling Eden before your folks arrive today that at this morning's sit (in RL) I practiced appreciating the appearance of whatever rose in my meditation.

Bruce Mowbray: Birds at the feeder, thoughts and feelings from inside, sunlight on the wall of my living room, wonderful natural sounds coming from outside...

Eden Haiku: Yes, that's a good desciption of what meditation is.

    Appreciation and attachment

Bolonath Crystal: i appreciate appreciation. but from there it is only a small step to attachment. how do you handle this?

Zen Arado: I think appreciation should be natural

Eden Haiku: Ah yes Bolonath. I do not struggle much with attachment, life takes care of that...

Zen Arado: step back and allow it to happen

Zen Arado: no 'I' doing appreciation

Eden Haiku: In the natural movement of impermanence

Zen Arado: I see what you mean Bolo

Bolonath Crystal: ah, that seems to be the way, zen, thank you :)

Bolonath Crystal: no 'i' doing anything

Bolonath Crystal: no ego - no attachment. so easy :)

Zen Arado: if we appreciate things TOO much we also start to attach

Bruce Mowbray: The "time magic" context seems to preclude attachment: In present time, watching the appearances that time presents moment by moment, appreciating those appearances. . . . Nothing to attach to, only appreciate.

Zen Arado: appreciate and let go?

Eden Haiku: remembers saying to herself: "I really like this yellow leather coat I'm wearing", only to have it stolen at a "spiritual" gathering one hour later :))

Bruce Mowbray: Well, a few weeks ago, we learned about "bartering" appearance for "existence."

Bruce Mowbray: It's a deal we make: giving up present appearance for the notion that things actually exist (and can therefore be attached to).

Zen Arado: maybe if we just appreciate everything we don't get attached

Bruce Mowbray: If you stay with what arises in present time, and appreciate that, one doesn't need to make that "barter" ---

Eden Haiku: "Strawberry fields, nothing is real..."

Zen Arado: attachment seems to need a singling out of something as 'special'

Bruce Mowbray: Yes, attachment also needs a separation of self and other.

    Zen Arado: Hi Bleu

    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)

Eden Haiku: Good morning Bleu :)

Bruce Mowbray: But staying with what arises -- seems (for me anyway) to preclude that separation.

    Bruce Mowbray: Good day, Bleu.

    --BELL--

Bolonath Crystal: attachment also is out of "now". if i am attached, i do not only appreciate the presence of something, but also like to do that in future

    Zen Arado: 'Strawberry fields forever'

    Eden Haiku: Hello Yaku...

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone

    Zen Arado: Hi Yaku

    Bleu Oleander: hey Yaku

    Bruce Mowbray: Good afternoon, Yaku.

    Zen Arado: good point Bruce

Bolonath Crystal: namaste yaku, bleu und lennox :)

Eden Haiku: Yak, your mike is open :))

Zen Arado: we want the appreciating to last

    lennox Leeeroy: hello everyone

    Bleu Oleander: hi lennox

    Eden Haiku: Hi Lennox :)

    Zen Arado: hi Lennox

    lennox Leeeroy: Hi Eden

Eden Haiku: Have you been here before Lennox?

    lennox Leeeroy: and Zen hi

    lennox Leeeroy: Yes Eden

Zen Arado: just thinking ....appreciating seems to require an effort

Eden Haiku: Sent the same info then I guess. Would you like to sit with us? We have been discussing "appreciation" and "attachment".

Bruce Mowbray: Again, for me - and just my experience: There is so much appearance each moment, if I tried to hold on to it (put something in storage for the 'future') - I would not have anywhere to store it.

Bruce Mowbray: The appreciation of whatever appears is already filling up my Mind and the whole place.

    Bruce Mowbray: No room left!

lennox Leeeroy: Thanks for the information Eden, thanks, happy to join you all

    Bruce Mowbray: Welcome back, Lennox.

Eden Haiku: Lennox, you agree being on record?

Zen Arado: it seems to require judgement too - or do we appreciate 'bad' things?

    lennox Leeeroy: No problem Eden

    Triplets and equanimity

Bruce Mowbray thinks that Lennox, Yaku, and Bolanath look like triplets.

lennox Leeeroy: Thanks Bruce, good to see you again

Bolonath Crystal: well, i think thats the point: appreciating whatever there is... not because it is good or bad, but because it IS

Eden Haiku: Appreciation is a practice for both bad and good things. No need to judge. Just let them be, is the way of appreciation I would think.

Zen Arado: 'I appreciate you kicking me in the teeth'

Bolonath Crystal: lol, bruce, may be we three have the same hairdresser ;)

    Zen Arado: ?

Eden Haiku: Triplets indeed...We appreciate having triplets here this morning :))

Bruce Mowbray: @ Zen. . . We don't appreciate any "things" -- only the appearance of whatever rises. . . So, we appreciate the appearance of whatever we might have [previously] judged as "good" or "bad" --

Bolonath Crystal: zen, if you kick me in the teeth, i appreciate having teeth at all ;)

Bruce Mowbray: We are not trying to appreciate the "bad things" -- just the appearance of them.

Zen Arado: if we just let them be it doesn't seem like appreciating though?

Eden Haiku: Appreciate your life Zen. Even if it is receiving a kick in the teeth. Easier said than done, for sure :))

Zen Arado: sorry - getting too analytic

Zen Arado: 'Let it be, let it be.....

Eden Haiku: Appreciating your analytic self kicking in Zen ...

Bruce Mowbray: That's exactly what appreciation does: Let the appearances be.

Zen Arado: 'Life is much too short and there's no ti i i i ime

Zen Arado: for fussing and fighting my friends

Zen Arado: lucky I wore my Beatles shirt today :)

    Bolonath Crystal: :D

Zen Arado: can I share a poem Eden?

Eden Haiku: We all live in a yellow submarine :)))

    Eden Haiku: Sure Zen!

Bruce Mowbray would love to hear Zen's poem.

    Zen shares a poem

Zen Arado: Flowing With The Way of Things

What we have here (this whole beautiful mess of a situation)

    Is just what it is.

No thoughts about how perfect or how awful it is,

can compete with the flat fact of its arrival each time we look again.

This is just the way of things:

This that comes to us when we awaken each morning

lurch out of bed and proceed to whatever is next.

The way things are slides by our window on our daily commute,

showing up in all those activities our lives consist of.

Flowing with the way of things we receive all that we are given.

we allow life to be what it is.

Thus we are moved along un-resistant, without protest,

like the water of a stream moved by gravity towards the sea.

Our lives come to us as we flow along.

    Our opportunities like rapids.

    Our disappointments like eddies.

The work we have come for, as a strong, clear and ever-present current.

    Do not be afraid.

We are being carried by a force mind cannot encompass.

All we can do is move with it

Zen Arado: willingly or not. © 2010 Alice Gardner

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: It's beautiful Zen. 'This whole mess of a situation".

Bruce Mowbray appreciates the appearance of "mess" - and also the appearance of "gravity."

Eden Haiku: And being carried by a force. As I was reading the poem, I was telling myself how much your underestimate your talent as a poet, until I saw the copyright ;))

Zen Arado: The bit about' No thoughts about how perfect or how awful it is' seems against the idea of appreciation?

lennox Leeeroy: Thanks Zen, about says it all

Zen Arado: ha ha I don't write poetry Eden

Eden Haiku: It is the idea of appreciation rather Zen.

Eden Haiku: Appreciation seems connected to equanimity isn't?

Bruce Mowbray: Again, within the context of the Times Sessions work, we are not appreciating this or that -- only appreciating the appearances of whatever arises.

Zen Arado: well - maybe the phrase could be taken to mean that

    Bruce Mowbray: appearances.

Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Eden ... very much as Equanimity.

Bolonath Crystal: "no thoughts about how perfect or how awful it is" doesn't contradict appreciation, i think. it might be neccessary to appreciate "all things"

Zen Arado: yes - I am stretching the word too much

Bruce Mowbray: Or, as with this week's Time Magic assignment, "to appreciate the appearance of things."

Zen Arado: analysing it too much

Eden Haiku: The context of 'The Magic of Time' book Pema is writing is that we experiment with this hypothesis that we see the world arising anew at all time so what we have is appearances, sheer appearances...

Bruce Mowbray: Zen (and everyone else, too) can you describe (rather than explain) what appreciation brings to your experience?

    Eden Haiku: Good question Bruce.

Zen Arado: not sure how to describe rather than explain :)

Appreciating the presence of appearance of the arrival of an unknown fox, I appreciated  that Time presented me with the appearance of a "crash" and I came back, missing bits of the conversation that the faithful auto-logger faithfully recorded.

    Eden Haiku: Hi Spikeheila,

    Spikeheila Kyger: Hi

    Zen Arado: Hi Spike

    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Spike.

Bolonath Crystal: appreciation is a tool to center my awareness on something. it helps me to see this "something" fully and without any attempts to avoid it

Eden Haiku: Do you have the info about our group Spikeheila?

    Bolonath Crystal: namaste spikeheila :)

Spikeheila Kyger: No I do not

Zen Arado: it helps me to be more firmly rooted in the present

Zen Arado: it takes up more of my field of awareness the might otherwise be looking to the future for some satisfaction

Bolonath Crystal: appreciation keeps me from what pema calls "hiding"

Eden Haiku: Gave you a notecard about our group Spikeheila. Do you agree to be recorded? [and vooom, I crashed!]

Spikeheila Kyger: Yeah, I don't mind

Bruce Mowbray is really appreciating the appearance of Spike's avatar. (beautiful!)

    Spikeheila Kyger: Ooo thankies

Spikeheila Kyger: Tis rare to find nice people nowadays

Zen Arado: yes - Spike reminds me of my dog who died

Zen Arado: he had white paws like that

    Zen Arado: and white chest

    Spikeheila Kyger: I'm a fox

Spikeheila Kyger: Or, at least, this avatar is

Zen Arado: yes the ears are different

Zen Arado: but foxes aren't usually black and white?

Spikeheila Kyger: Sorry to hear about your dog

Bruce Mowbray: Really a gorgeous fox - and the first one I've ever seen in SL.

Spikeheila Kyger: This fox avatar, although a bit painfull in the purse, can look however ya want.

    --BELL--

    Zen Arado: ok I see

Spikeheila Kyger: Back to business, what is this group about? Seems interesting

Bolonath Crystal: this group is about falling into catalepsis every 15 min :)

Zen Arado: Eden must have crashed

Zen Arado: it's best to read around the Wiki Spike

    Zen Arado: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/

Zen Arado: we meet 4 times a day at 1,7 am and 1,7 pm SLT

    Bolonath Crystal: wb eden :)

Zen Arado: and have discussions about lots of things

Zen Arado: often spiritual in nature but not always

Eden Haiku: Sorry, I crashed :) See you are introducting PaB. Did you get the info card I sent Spikeheila?

Eden Haiku: Does anyone know if I have to claim the session again?

Zen Arado: claim it anyway I think

Zen Arado: you can add the 2 sessions together

Eden Haiku: Ok, I did. Thanks, Did you agree to be on record Spikeheila?

    Spikeheila Kyger: Yes

lennox Leeeroy: been looking up 'appreciate' in the dictionary. The word has several meanings around an estimate of 'worth, value, amount'. Also 'esteem' or to' increase in value'

Eden Haiku: Thanks, sorry for that. Trying to appreciate the appearance of crashing :))

    Bolonath Crystal: :)

lennox Leeeroy: we value you Eden ;)))

Zen Arado: yes - there does seem to be an 'increase in value' in the action to me

    Eden Haiku: Thanks :)

Zen Arado: but maybe by allowing other distracting things to fall away

"What a wonderful place this is"

Zen Arado: I'll just sit back and appreciate you all :)

Zen Arado : what nice people you are

Zen Arado: ***and what a wondeful place this is***

Zen Arado: appreciation in action :)

Zen Arado: how lucky I am to be here

Spikeheila Kyger: It sure is really nice, I love the trees and the grass, and the water.

Eden Haiku: Appreciating the number of avatars here this morning might mean counting them as well as being happy about that. But in the language, appreciation does point to things we like. That was apperciating the arrival of Aphrodite discourse....

Zen Arado: and such interesting discussion

    Aphrodite Macbain: well thank you

    Zen Arado: Hi Aphro

Bruce Mowbray: Again, what Pema's chapter is emphasizing is that we appreciate the APPEARANCES of whatever rises -- not the things or ideas or feelings themse;ves -- but the APPEARANCES of them.

    Bleu Oleander: hi Aph

Eden Haiku: Aph is now translating us into Japanese. :)

Aphrodite Macbain: Good day to you all. I woke up late but I'm here

    Bruce Mowbray: Good morning, Aph!

Zen Arado: well - that's what I meant

    Zen Arado: :)

    Bolonath Crystal: namaste aphrodite :)

    Aphrodite Macbain: namaste!

Bruce Mowbray: Your cats and potted plants are lovely, Aph.

lennox Leeeroy: Hello good to see you aphrodite

Aphrodite Macbain: do you mind me putting them there?

Eden Haiku: I appreciate the appeareance of the fact that Aphrodite is now translating of the fact [I meant from the Japanese as, for a short while I was seeing her translator's ideograms but they didn't show in the chat]. Only the apprearance Bruce, not the fact that she is :))

    Aphrodite Macbain: say what?

Eden Haiku: Oups, that was a mess. The appearance of the fact that she is translating us in Japanese :)

Zen Arado: but wonder how I can appreciate the appearance of 'what nice people you are'

Aphrodite Macbain: Eden you are speaking another language today

Bleu Oleander: bfn .... take care all :)

    Zen Arado: bye Bleu

Aphrodite Macbain: How can you tell? My translator is off.

    Bolonath Crystal: bye bleu

    Aphrodite Macbain: Bye Bleu

Spikeheila Kyger: Spike appreciates the fact that she is experiencing such a wonderful place , meeting all of these new people, and that fate has allowed me to find this place.

    Bruce Mowbray: Bye, Bleu!

Eden Haiku: Been reading too much Pema's prose. I talk like a Dutch astrophysicist :)[hummm...my jargon is really not at that level ;)]

    Aphrodite Macbain: :-0

Bruce Mowbray: Wonderful, Spike -- and really good to have you here with us.

    Zen Arado: double Dutch :)

Eden Haiku: We are very please to welcome you here Spike.

Aphrodite Macbain: you are adorable spike

    Spikeheila Kyger: Thank you all

Bruce Mowbray: Hey Aph -- Spike is a FOX -- and a BEAUTIFUL one, don't you agree!?

Aphrodite Macbain: what have you been discussing while I was sleeping?

Zen Arado: makes me feel sad though - reminds me of my dog that died so much - even if the AVi is a fox

Bruce Mowbray: We were talking about Pema's new chapter -- on APPRECIATION.

    --BELL--

    Morphing of the fox

Aphrodite Macbain: I must spend some time reading his writing. He is amazingly talented

Eden Haiku: Was your dog a pomeranian Zen? They look like foxes a bit.

Spikeheila Kyger: Is this better Zen?

Spikeheila Kyger: Many dogs that are in the Spitz, grouping look like foxes

Eden Haiku: You look like a wolf now Spike...

    Aphrodite Macbain: ?

Aphrodite Macbain: do they eat puffins?

    Spikeheila Kyger: I love puffins

Eden Haiku: Puffins are a kind of salmon right?

Aphrodite Macbain: there are a few here

Spikeheila Kyger: They are a kind of that look like Penguins

    Spikeheila Kyger: BUURRRD! OvO

Zen Arado: not so like my dog now :)

    Spikeheila Kyger: eep

Spikeheila Kyger: forgot about that gesture x3

Eden Haiku: Oh I see them now...

Aphrodite Macbain: no they are a sea bird that eats fish

Bruce Mowbray: There are two puffins near Aph. . .

    Aphrodite Macbain: right

Zen Arado: there are a lot of them on an island near me

    Zen Arado: Rathlin Island

Eden Haiku: Oh birds... the Webster wasn't helpful for puffins...

Bruce Mowbray: They are being well behaved today. My fish ("Blub") is not at all worried about them... Indeed, he's appreciating the appearance of the puffins.

Aphrodite Macbain: thousands in Newfoundland where I lived for 3 years

Aphrodite Macbain: Blub is a very well behaved being

    Zen Arado: http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guid...lin/index.aspx

    Aphrodite Macbain: what's that Zen?

    Spikeheila Kyger: Puffins :3

Bruce Mowbray: You also have puffins in Ireland, Zen??

    Zen Arado: http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/bird...fin/index.aspx

    Spikeheila Kyger: http://photo.net/general-comments/at...%20puffins.jpg

    Zen Arado: oh yes

    Spikeheila Kyger: Puffins nuzzling

Eden Haiku: Oh maybe they are "Fous de Bassan" ?

Aphrodite Macbain: you speak in URL

Bruce Mowbray: Oh my! BEAUTIFUL birds!

    Aphrodite Macbain: yes, aren't they?

Aphrodite Macbain: They're not really designed for flying but they seem to manage

Eden Haiku: Oh no, thanks for the pictures guys, now I can appreciate :)

Aphrodite Macbain: Put these little guys to shame!

Spikeheila Kyger: Birds are such magneficent creatures

Spikeheila Kyger: Then again, all animals big and small are, to me.

    Zen Arado: really appreciate them

    Bruce Mowbray: Blub

Spikeheila Kyger: As I was born on Earth Day

    Zen Arado: so beautiful

    Zen Arado: have to go

    Spikeheila Kyger: Aww

    Bolonath Crystal: cu zen :)

Aphrodite Macbain: a puffin at each place. Sorry to see you go Zen

    Zen Arado: thanks for discussion

Eden Haiku: Bye Zen, thanks again for the beautiful poem!

Bruce Mowbray: Have a grand day, Zen. THANK you!

    lennox Leeeroy: bye Zen

    Zen Arado: bye

    Spikeheila Kyger: See you

Aphrodite Macbain: sorry I missed that

Aphrodite Macbain: are you asleep spike?

    Spikeheila Kyger: Nah

Spikeheila Kyger: Cuddling up to a feral friend

lennox Leeeroy: must go too Bye all and thanks

    Spikeheila Kyger: Aww

Aphrodite Macbain: wondered whether he was eating a puffin

Bolonath Crystal: bye lennox, cu next time :)

Spikeheila Kyger: Spike is a she :3

Bruce Mowbray: Spike seems to be appreciating her cushion and her nearby puffin!

Loving the world and all in it

Spikeheila Kyger: Love the world and all in it, ya know?

Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Lennox. Be well.

Eden Haiku: Bye Lennox, have a nice day!

Aphrodite Macbain: Nice new T shirt Bruce

Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Aph. Would like like to have one?

Aphrodite Macbain: Sure. One can never have enough T shirts

    Bruce Mowbray: Good morning, Eliza.

Aphrodite Macbain: Are you leaving Eliza?

Eden Haiku: Sheer appearance of Eliza :)

    Bolonath Crystal: namaste eliza:)

Eliza Madrigal: Hi, so sorry to miss most of the session

Eliza Madrigal: I can stay a few minutes though :)

Aphrodite Macbain: I did too and by all reports it was a good one!

Eden Haiku: Never late here Eliza, always welcome :)

    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks :))

Eden Haiku: We have been talking about appreciation.

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, very precious conversation then

Eden Haiku: Appreciating the presence of your appareance.

Bruce Mowbray: Eliza has already read Pena's new chapter, right?

    Bruce Mowbray: Pema's.

Aphrodite Macbain: Did you qquote a full poem here?

Eden Haiku: Strawberry fields, nothing is real...

    Eliza Madrigal: yes, wonderful chapter

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: nothing to get hung up on...

Eden Haiku: Zen did yes. A beautiful poem by Alice Gardner,

    Bruce Mowbray: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/PaB_Books/Magic_of_Time/Time_Sessions

Aphrodite Macbain hums to get hung about

    Eliza Madrigal: heheh, yes

Aphrodite Macbain: nothing to get hung about.

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: I was thinking about a recent conversation about 'the hooks are all yours'

Aphrodite Macbain: I can't see what I'm typing sometimes, these hovering texts keep blocking the screen where I'm typing. Any suggestions how to get rid of that text?

Eden Haiku: You mean the blue notices Aph?

Aphrodite Macbain: mine aren't blue but the little instructions that pop up when you put yourcursor on them

    Eden Haiku: Oh, viewer 2?

Bruce Mowbray: Grab the chat window and pullit higher -- then you should have access to the chat entry line.

Aphrodite Macbain: actually I'm in Emerald. Maybe it's an Emerald thing.

Spikeheila Kyger: I not have problem with anything

Bruce Mowbray: OK -- I know nothing at all about Emerald, sorry.

Eliza Madrigal: hm, not sure. I usually just click around and adjust preferences til it goes away, if it is those 'new' instructions that come up

Aphrodite Macbain: I think it goes away after a while

    Spikeheila Kyger: I don't mind :3

Bruce Mowbray was only making typo error to see if Aph would appreciate the appearance of them.

Eliza Madrigal grins widely at Eden
