    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Aphrodite
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hello Lucinda
Aphrodite Macbain: How are you this evening?
    Lucinda Lavender: Well...ok
Lucinda Lavender: I have been working hard
Aphrodite Macbain: that's sounds not very OK
    Lucinda Lavender: how about you?
Aphrodite Macbain: It's been a bit of a stressful day but now I can relax with a glass of wine and SL!
Lucinda Lavender: ah! I was given flowers and a card....
Aphrodite Macbain: How wonderful. It's not your birthday is it?
Lucinda Lavender: are you still on the vacation?
Aphrodite Macbain: no. I came home on Wednesday evening.
Lucinda Lavender: no I just have endured grumpiness...and the causes I am going to tell a bit about but then erase in editing...they are fluttering away as we speak...
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: it was a good trip?
Aphrodite Macbain: It was fine - very peaceful and green. Only I got stung with a wasp and my finger swelled up
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hello Eos
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Eos...
Eos Amaterasu: hi Aphro & Luci
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh - arthritis?
Lucinda Lavender: I am enjoying the fluttery things
Aphrodite Macbain: That IS painful. I have it in my knee
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
Aphrodite Macbain: the fluttery things like snow?
Lucinda Lavender: yes it is like snow...or little lights
Aphrodite Macbain: How are you Eos?
    Lucinda Lavender: or seeds
Aphrodite Macbain: yes. I think that's becaue I have something attached to me and whenever I type, it snows
Eos Amaterasu: some kind of synaesthetic vocalization
    Aphrodite Macbain: vocalization?
Eos Amaterasu: I'm fine Aphrodite.... how are you (recalling your witnessing the struggling boat the other day)
Aphrodite Macbain: I am fine now and the wasp sting has been dealt a blow thanks to an aantihistamine
    Aphrodite Macbain: thanks for asking
Lucinda Lavender: Eos I wanted to tell you that I went to your plot some time back and noticed it's name was clearing of being, it's name...and then it happened that you used the term clearing of being during a session here. It was on my mind as we discussed the forests of Nova Scotia and the experience you all had there.
Lucinda Lavender: It seemed sort of synchonistic at the time...
Aphrodite Macbain: I always wanted to be... what plot is that?
Aphrodite Macbain: sorry. what plot are you talking about? Does it thicken?
Eos Amaterasu: it's long been a favorite phrase, from Heidegger, who said "language is the clearing of Being"
Lucinda Lavender: There is a plot over behind Ewan's Tree house.
Eos Amaterasu: but notion of "clearing of Being" goes way back
    Eos Amaterasu: sacred groves
    Eos Amaterasu: etc
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!
Eos Amaterasu: an opening in the woods, and you feel something special
Aphrodite Macbain: Oh. what did he mean by that?
Aphrodite Macbain: clearing away or making room for?
    Lucinda Lavender: I see
    Eos Amaterasu: opening up, disclosing
Lucinda Lavender: I like to sit in quiet places like that
Aphrodite Macbain: deptends on the language I guess. Sometimes language just confuses things
    Aphrodite Macbain: the secret garden
Eos Amaterasu muses, "language is the snowglobe of being"...
    Eos Amaterasu: the secret garden?
Lucinda Lavender: a container of sorts?
Aphrodite Macbain thinks Eos has a good point
Aphrodite Macbain: a safe, walled place with a unicorn inside
Aphrodite Macbain: friendly spirits and fairies under each flower
Eos Amaterasu has seen that image on tapestries
    Lucinda Lavender: nodding
Lucinda Lavender: And I have had the experience of singing about the Unicorn...
Aphrodite Macbain: it's a common reference to the garden of paradise in Christian iconography. Innocience/purity unblemished by knowledge or passion
Lucinda Lavender: The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and the Manticore
Aphrodite Macbain: how does the song go Luci>
Lucinda Lavender: It is a operetta by menotti.
Lucinda Lavender: And it tells the stages of the artist/poet.
Aphrodite Macbain: I forget what the Gorgon and Manticore look like
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: first art: perfect, white... Gorgon is it's opposite
Lucinda Lavender: Manticore is a mystical beast
Aphrodite Macbain: a ... Manticore is a kind of sea creature I think
    Lucinda Lavender: brb
Eos Amaterasu: the 90 seconds is a "clearing of being"
Eos Amaterasu: there's more stuff happening around it
Eos Amaterasu: it's a bit of time with some ventilation
Eos Amaterasu: so things could just be as they are
    Aphrodite Macbain: the waves settle
Eos Amaterasu: but still it snows
    Lucinda Lavender: back
Lucinda Lavender: "do not caress the lonley manticore...do not unless your hand is gloved. Feeling unloved he often bites the hand he really meant to kiss...
    Aphrodite Macbain: and lightnings
    Lucinda Lavender: just remembered
    Aphrodite Macbain: very nice Luci.
Aphrodite Macbain: what is it from?
    Aphrodite Macbain: from
Lucinda Lavender: so lost he is in cabalistic dreams...he often bites the hand he really meant to kiss
Lucinda Lavender: Named The Unicorn the Gorgon and then Manticore
Aphrodite Macbain: The manticore (Early Middle Persian Martyaxwar; Βάρἰκος Baricos in Greek) is a legendary creature similar to the Egyptian sphinx. It has the body of a red lion, a human head with three rows of sharp teeth (like a shark), and a trumpet-like voice. Other aspects of the creature vary from story to story. It may be horned, winged, or both. The tail is that of either a dragon or a scorpion, and it may shoot poisonous spines to either paralyze or kill its victims. The creature's feet may be those of a dragon, but are most often described as the paws of a lion.
    Aphrodite Macbain: genetics gone wild
    Eos Amaterasu: CGI gone wild
    Aphrodite Macbain: CGI?
Eos Amaterasu: Computer Generated Imagery: it's what overwhelms most films these days
Aphrodite Macbain: Right. the world of possibilties - like SL
Aphrodite Macbain: I suppose I should go and make dinner now; it's getting late and I'm getting hungry
Lucinda Lavender: I have trouble bringing links in to PaB
Lucinda Lavender: have a lovely dinner...
Eos Amaterasu: Good prepping and eating, Aphrodite
Aphrodite Macbain: I haven't even tried. How would you do that?
Aphrodite Macbain: bringing links I mean
Eos Amaterasu: do you mean typing or copying/pasting links into the chat here?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes Eos
Aphrodite Macbain: copying and pastings/b easy
Lucinda Lavender: just tried and it did not go
    Eos Amaterasu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LTY7MLuzC8
Eos Amaterasu: I just copied the URL, address of the web page, and pasted it in here
Aphrodite Macbain: hmmm strange. Bye to you both. Cu soon
    Eos Amaterasu: bye A[phro
    Lucinda Lavender: Bye Aphrodite
Lucinda Lavender: Well I will try again...but this is nice:)
Lucinda Lavender: Soothing and transitional(Glenn Gould-Goldberg Variations)
Eos Amaterasu: good late night music
Eos Amaterasu: Would you like to suggest a framing for the upcoming 90 seconds?
Lucinda Lavender: reminds me of waterfalls
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    Lucinda Lavender: perhaps waterfalls
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: the word that came to my mind was...the force...of being
    Eos Amaterasu: hmm, yes!
Lucinda Lavender: with each moving note there seems a force
Eos Amaterasu: things come up, in bursts, and harmonies, and discords, and progressions, and stops, ...
Lucinda Lavender: yes ...all of those different things
Lucinda Lavender: all of the notes making their paths, of now
    Eos Amaterasu: like a forest
Lucinda Lavender: some pointy some round
Eos Amaterasu: some tinkly, some goompy
Lucinda Lavender: some just flecks of gold in the sunlight
    Eos Amaterasu: some entire sandstorms

Lucinda Lavender: I was reading about Labradorite...
Lucinda Lavender: because it was in a dream...
Lucinda Lavender: and some stories came to be about the colors of the stone as being part of the aurora borealis
    Eos Amaterasu: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labradorite
Lucinda Lavender: this dream happened while there was a retreat in your neck of the woods...
Eos Amaterasu: labradorite colors & aurora borealis colors
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Eos Amaterasu: during the Windhorse Farm retreat (aka "avatars in the forest")?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: I was shopping for a a labradorite ring and thought it was in a retreat sort of building.
Lucinda Lavender: instead the shop owner offered me a small statue of Kuan Yin made of the stone...
    Eos Amaterasu: !
Lucinda Lavender: or...there was also a necklace pendant carved like a bunch of grapes
Lucinda Lavender: they would cost about 500 dollars...so I thought that was too much for me
Lucinda Lavender: so I have done a little reading about that stone
Lucinda Lavender: love the blue and green.
    --BELL--
    Eos Amaterasu: Kuan Yin: http://gallery.shambhalasun.com/_product_39708/Seated_Guanyin_Bodhisattva_(Cover_Edition)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes..
    Lucinda Lavender: thank you
Eos Amaterasu: I like the quality of at ease, completely relaxed
Eos Amaterasu: and at the same time so rich, almost heavy with the drapes of the clothes
    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
    Eos Amaterasu: also friendly
Eos Amaterasu: plus Kuan Yin is depicted sometimes male, sometimes female
    Lucinda Lavender: smiles
Eos Amaterasu: does Kuan-Yin mean something special to you?
Lucinda Lavender: A very lard jade Buddha has come to Seattle
    Lucinda Lavender: large
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Lucinda Lavender: um not lard!
    Eos Amaterasu: heh heh
Lucinda Lavender: no special significance except I have seen her holding children and many dreams that I have are in protection of children
Lucinda Lavender: and in fact later in the same dream there was a situation I thought dangerous to children
Lucinda Lavender: I thought I would need to call for help in a very mysterious way so as not to alert a dangerous person that I was calling for help

Eos Amaterasu: I can feel the dream atmosphere...
Lucinda Lavender: the dream started with shopping and ended with calling for help
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I sensed that the room was too crowded. That teachers needed to make space...and then...noticed a scythe on the ground left by the gardener who I saw as dangerous.
    Lucinda Lavender: very unsual
Lucinda Lavender: thought perhaps of him as death, potentially.

Eos Amaterasu: and at the beginning the laboradite stone you were seeking could also appear as Kuan Yin
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: so maybe she gives awareness of potential danger...
Eos Amaterasu: maybe she's also the heart essence of what you're looking for
    --BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: ah! a way for searching without to become a presence within
Eos Amaterasu: at the end of the long journey you find your innermost heart!
    Lucinda Lavender: a wonderful thing...
Lucinda Lavender: my call at the end was one of apparent surprise or joy...tho more than that
Lucinda Lavender: do you think being calls?
    Aztlan Foss: hi lucinda
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Aztlan
    Lucinda Lavender: Hello Aztlan
Eos Amaterasu: I think Being calls
    Aztlan Foss: hi Eos
Lucinda Lavender: oh great...I was hoping so
Eos Amaterasu: we hear or see those calls as events in the phenomenal world
Aztlan Foss: what do you guys mean?
Lucinda Lavender: we are talking about a kind of call that we feel I guess you might say...
Eos Amaterasu: Have you been here, to Play as Being, before, Aztlan?
Aztlan Foss: yeah a few times
Lucinda Lavender: Somehow I think I remember you...
Lucinda Lavender: Aztlan...you don't mind the recording that goes to a chat log at the wiki?
Aztlan Foss: nope, I think it's cool
Eos Amaterasu: For example, when Aphrodite described putting her hand on the wasp while watching the sailboat struggling to tack into the harbour
    Lucinda Lavender: cool
Eos Amaterasu: I think you could say that's being talking
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
Eos Amaterasu: opens a little gap in the absorption, perhaps
    Aztlan Foss: excitement?
    Lucinda Lavender: a sting!
Eos Amaterasu: shakes up the situation, so your little attempts at control fall apart
    Aztlan Foss: ah!
Aztlan Foss: that reminds me, I just had a kidney stone a few weeks ago
Eos Amaterasu: prelude to outrageous fortune
    Eos Amaterasu:

And that was the end of the recording....:)
