    Yakuzza Lethecus: and star
Alfred Kelberry: yaku has a wild imagination :)
    Vendy Walpole: Hello
    Wol Euler: hello vendy
Stargate Tone: oh wow; look who's here ; Hello all :)***
    Alfred Kelberry: aw.. hugs :)
Stargate Tone: ohhhh I'm tall now...sorry
    Arisia Vita: I'm not
Alfred Kelberry: take off your heels, star :)
    Stargate Tone: oh thank you
Vendy Walpole: Ari, seems you should change the height as I suggested :)
    Stargate Tone: lol
    Arisia Vita: :)
    Wol Euler: :)
Stargate Tone: ah...it's me who donno how to adjust AV to the dress
Arisia Vita: everyone misses the point of a hug... :)
    Vendy Walpole: nice dress Star
Wol Euler: usually tht is easier than adjusting the dress to the av.
    Arisia Vita: yes, lovely dress
    Alfred Kelberry: i like hugs
Wol Euler: hello eden, hadn't seen you earlier
Alfred Kelberry: and snuggles too :)
Vendy Walpole: like the hair too Star
Eden Haiku: Hello Wol! I just arrived...
    Stargate Tone: hearts
    Alfred Kelberry: mmm...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey pema
    Stargate Tone: hi Pema
    Vendy Walpole: Hi Pema
    Eden Haiku: hello Pema!
    Stargate Tone: hearts
    Pema Pera: Hi Everybody!
Alfred Kelberry: thank you, star :)
Wol Euler: hello pema, nice to see you again.
    Alfred Kelberry: oh my!
    Stargate Tone: smiles *
Vendy Walpole: How is in Japan Pema?
    Alfred Kelberry: oi, pema
Pema Pera: fine, early, 6 am, Vendy :)
Vendy Walpole: ohoo, you are not sleepy?
Pema Pera: but jetlag helps :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hiya eos :)
Wol Euler: I think you must live in a permanent state of jetlag.
Vendy Walpole: though this is the best time for spiritual thoughts :)
    Vendy Walpole: and meditation
    Eos Amaterasu: hi all
Yakuzza Lethecus: take a pillow alfred
    Stargate Tone: Hi Eos
Pema Pera: I like jetlag, yes, a kind of dreamy state
    Alfred Kelberry: hi, eos
    Eden Haiku: hello Eos!
Pema Pera: (if you don't have to do too much work, that is)
Stargate Tone: and hi Eden to you too :)***
Wol Euler: one of Alf's endearing peculiarities is his allergy to sitting :)
Alfred Kelberry: yaku, i'm alright, thanks :)
Eden Haiku: Nice to meet you Stargate!
Alfred Kelberry: not at all, wol. it's all insinuation stemming from storm :)
    Stargate Tone: Hi Agatha
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi aga,qt
Wol Euler: hello agatha, nice to see you again; hello qt
    Eden Haiku: Hi Agatha!
    Agatha Macbeth: Woohoo snow!
    Vendy Walpole: Hello Agatha
    Qt Core: hi all
Stargate Tone: oh hello Qt *
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello
Pema Pera: Hi Qt and Agatha!
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Pem
Wol Euler: Pema. I'm curious, did you try the 0.9 second ultra-micro-breaks today?
    Pema Pera: not yet
Pema Pera: I slept since I first suggested it
Pema Pera: but I'm curious to try :)
    Pema Pera: how about you?
Wol Euler: ah, yse, that makes sense-
Alfred Kelberry: it takes a lot of patience, i presume :)
Stargate Tone: Hello Cal and Aubergine
Qt Core: 0.9 every ? each minute ?
    Aubergine Mint: hello
Wol Euler: before opening an e-mail, was the original idea
Pema Pera: each 1.5 minutes, if you want to scale it :)
    Eden Haiku: Micro breaks?
    Wol Euler: hello calvino, aubergine
    Eos Amaterasu: gapinos
Pema Pera: well, it all started with Qt's idea, I believe
Qt Core: does spam counts ? ;-)
Calvino Rabeni: Hi, Stargate, Wol, everyone
    Vendy Walpole: Hi Cal
    Eden Haiku: gapinos ;-)
Pema Pera: to take a break not at a fixed time, but when there is a natural opening in your work
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Pema Pera: so in between the many emails we all read each day (including spam, sure, why not) perhaps a tiny break?
    Wol Euler: :)
    Eos Amaterasu: transition times
Eos Amaterasu: something's ended, something else not yet
Pema Pera: and Being can shine through :)
Eos Amaterasu: .9 secs is about right :-)
    Aubergine Mint: I like that!
Eden Haiku: Good idea. But the trick is to remember to do it...
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
Qt Core: yesterday i found myself almost having a 9 sec breack... during a concert, with some doubt having been in a semi meditative state for most of it
Eden Haiku: I still struggle with the 9 secs every 15 minutes...
Qt Core: (and it surely wasn't meditatve music)
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: i don't get it. is it about "natural breaks" like pema says or fixed intervals that eden suggests?
Wol Euler: either or, Alf. Or both.
Pema Pera: all these ideas, regular breaks dictated by time or work, are really only tricks to make a switch, but very helpful tricks.
Pema Pera: The switch is the important thing.
Pema Pera: Our whole day we suffer: "I have a problem" -- how to get rid of the problem?
Pema Pera: The switch is to: "This problem has an I" -- how to drop the I?
    Alfred Kelberry: change perspective
Pema Pera: How to find what I really am, rather than the effigy that clings to problems?
Vendy Walpole: Why I feel sometimes resistance to switch though know it helps?
Eos Amaterasu visualizes an effigy clinging....
Pema Pera: the "I" doesn't like to be dropped -- the "I" we normall associate with (self, ego)
Vendy Walpole: Like i wish remain in the problem
    Pema Pera: lol, Eos!
    Vendy Walpole: Yes, ego resists
Eos Amaterasu: clinging to comfort, then to fear....
Aubergine Mint: can we ever drop the "I"?
Wol Euler: problems can be comfotable places. they can be an excuse for staying still
Eos Amaterasu: I think you can find the I has dropped, for a tiny fraction of a second
Pema Pera: dropping here doesn't mean getting rid of or suppressing, rather "wearing lightly" or not being glued to, Aubergine
Eos Amaterasu: it comes and goes
Pema Pera: yes, it's always an illusion, and we get tired holding up that illusion
Aubergine Mint: what is the entity that is wearing the "I" lightly then?
Pema Pera: that's for all of to find out!
    Pema Pera: for ourselves
    Eos Amaterasu: bemusement?
    Wol Euler: homework!
Calvino Rabeni: I like Pema's point about tiredness
Calvino Rabeni: If you can find that, you can release it
Pema Pera: but we can "play as if" we already found the answer, Aubergine (Being)
    Calvino Rabeni: Easily dropped attachements
Wol Euler: Pema, will you talk about "Who is xxx"? (adams)
    Pema Pera: yes, Calvino!!
Calvino Rabeni: Also at that point there is the "like" side of the equation
    Aubergine Mint: ah:)
Pema Pera: all is Being, Wol, but we have to see it . . .
Calvino Rabeni: Drop something for something else that feels attractive
    Pema Pera: barter :)
Calvino Rabeni: The new temporary identifidcation will have more aliveness
Calvino Rabeni: BUt you might know it won't last
Pema Pera: but the challenge is then to drop all identifications
Eos Amaterasu: and attachment to lasting
Wol Euler: nothing lasts, though; isn't that all the more reason to drop and be now?
Calvino Rabeni: The act of dropping and getting implies an awareness of the dropper/getter
Aubergine Mint: if you dropped all identifications how would you know you were being?
Pema Pera: try it, Aubergine :)
Calvino Rabeni: that in itself is less rigid than the usual way of being fixated
Aubergine Mint: harder than it sounds
Pema Pera: we can't do it for you
Eos Amaterasu: phemomena are still waving
Pema Pera: and also easier than it sounds
    Pema Pera: both
Vendy Walpole: when we drop what we have we step into unknown and perhaps it causes the sense of fear in the benginners
    Vendy Walpole: beginners
Aubergine Mint: (that would be me)
Calvino Rabeni: Fear not, traditions have called that "bliss" so there must be something cool about it :)
Vendy Walpole: maybe -fear- is too strong word, could say- uncomfortable
Eos Amaterasu: colors might be too bright
Vendy Walpole: yes, the cool part follows Cal
    Vendy Walpole: definetely
Calvino Rabeni: You might listen to others' descriptions of the experience
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Calvino Rabeni: for a non-fearful take on it
Vendy Walpole: I am talking of the time before we take the step
Wol Euler: and Aubergine, btw, every one of us was a beginner once :)
    Aubergine Mint: :)
Wol Euler: most of us still are.
Eos Amaterasu: the mind of no preconception is beginner's mind, n'est-ce pas?
Pema Pera: shall we try to make this switch, from trying to "reach" something like Being, to letting Being be? This is the "Being Seeing" exploration we have done here before. How about using the next 90 seconds break to just let Being see?
Eden Haiku: I certainly am still a beginner ;-)
    Pema Pera: me too :)
    Wol Euler grins
Calvino Rabeni: Good to stay that way
    Calvino Rabeni: :)
Pema Pera: it's a challenge, to stay that way :)
    Calvino Rabeni: yes
Eos Amaterasu: venturing into a 90 secs we have never entered before
    --BELL--
    Stargate Tone: Hello Zen
    Zen Arado: Hi all
    Wol Euler: hello zen
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Zen
Aubergine Mint: I'm confused by the phrase "being seeing"
Eden Haiku: I entered the 90 secs in a state of reverence, felt I was walking into a church or a temple...
    Zen Arado: sorry for disturbing
Wol Euler: it's part of a pair, actually, YSBS is the full set
Wol Euler: You Seeing -- which is how you normally exist in and see the world
Wol Euler: Being Seeing -- which is how someone who was fully in tune with Being, having dropped all preconceptions and whatnots, would see the world
Vendy Walpole: could we replace You seeing with Mind seeing and still have the same meaning?
    Zen Arado: direct experience
Wol Euler: "what would all this look like if I could see it from *outside*, without my involvement in it"=
    Wol Euler: ?
    Aubergine Mint: ty that helps
Qt Core: easy... for vulcans, maybe ;-)
Calvino Rabeni: I don't know the practices with the acronyms, but I did something like Wol suggested, and it was great
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Wol Euler: nobody said it was easy :) But it's not as hard as it might sound
Calvino Rabeni: I think, you can't be results-oriented
Agatha Macbeth: Live long and prosper QT!
Calvino Rabeni: More like, see what you get, and that is good
Zen Arado: how could we stay in that gap between seeing and our mind rushing with thinking, categorizing etc ..?
    Qt Core: :)
Eos Amaterasu: just noting, and noting = dropping, You Seeing, is enough: not need to prejudge what Being Seing is
    Agatha Macbeth: ;-)
    Calvino Rabeni: makes sense eos
Pema Pera: Thanks, Wol, for the summary; if I may, one note re: Wol Euler: Being Seeing -- which is how someone who was fully in tune with Being, having dropped all preconceptions and whatnots, would see the world -- there is no someone anymore then, ideally in Being Seeing
Pema Pera: in your description there were still two: someone and Being -- in tune with is still separation
Wol Euler: true, but I was stuck for a way that would express it simply
Pema Pera: (sorry to be picky :-)
    Pema Pera: yes, I agree!
Pema Pera: when using words, we approximate
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Pema Pera: so what you said is a fine way in
Pema Pera: and then we finetune furtehr
Vendy Walpole: when we drop what we have actually we get more life, being present in the moment and aware, so we do not lose anything, in the contrarry
    Wol Euler: yes!
Aubergine Mint: at some level aren't we always someone? or can you really reach a place where there is no self?
Pema Pera: try it Aubergine, seriously!
Calvino Rabeni: Take a vacation from self :)
Aubergine Mint: is there path to get there?
Pema Pera: we are already there . . . .
Pema Pera: so in that sense, no path
Wol Euler: Pema knows I love to play devil's advocate, so: my experience is the opposite. I thought that what I dropped would be bits of myself
Eos Amaterasu: That's why people take vacations ..... do they work? :-)
Wol Euler: but as they fell away they felt more like flakes of mud that had caked onto me. I felt more "me", more real as me, after dropping
Vendy Walpole: of your ego Wol, I think
Vendy Walpole: yes, just ego leaves, not you
Pema Pera: yes, the more real "me", Wol !
    Vendy Walpole: my view
Wol Euler: the essence of me is not who I think I am :)
Pema Pera: exactly! All thinking misses the mark
Wol Euler: it's what remains when I stop thinking about myself
Eos Amaterasu: "you are not what you think"
Aubergine Mint: how do you know when you've reached the real "me"
Pema Pera: try it, Aubergine, sorry to repeat, but these questions have no answers . . . .
Wol Euler: you don't, but that doesn't matter. The point is the walking, not where the path leads.
    Vendy Walpole: and seeing
    Aubergine Mint: I see
Repose Lionheart: not conducive to enlightenment
Eos Amaterasu: you keep finding more subtle me's that you've both built up and hid from yourself
    Repose Lionheart: these questions
Calvino Rabeni: But it is a fair question - I think - how do you know when you are moving along on the "pathless path"?
Pema Pera: it is a fair question, for sure, as far as getting closer so to speak
Eos Amaterasu: noting that you have more to give up is sign of progress :-)
Pema Pera: but there are no "final" answers
    Calvino Rabeni: Yes
Vendy Walpole: why we need to know?
    Calvino Rabeni: agree
Pema Pera: getting closer show in everything: the way you feel, live, walk, breathe, how others look at you
Calvino Rabeni: how you see others, whether you see them
Eos Amaterasu: we're always curious and checking, so we keep checking: the need to check get humored more and more
Calvino Rabeni: whether you feel aliveness
    Eos Amaterasu: gets
Pema Pera: (shall we do another "Being Seeing" or "letting Being See" in the next break?)
    Wol Euler: yes, let's.
    --BELL--
Eden Haiku: Ok, I will share: I saw myself at my desk from far away. It wasn,t me in RL, bur Eden's head I was seeing, with her black hair, but it was at my RL desk. I could feel your presence, all of you, inside the screen and elsewhere in the world like circles of colors.
    Wol Euler smiles
Qt Core: have to go, bye
    Zen Arado: bye Qt
    Vendy Walpole: Bye Qt
Wol Euler: bye qt, hello fael
    Stargate Tone: bye Qt
    Agatha Macbeth: C ya QT
    Eden Haiku: Bye QT
    Fael Illyar: Hello Everyone :)
Zen Arado: like an out of body experience?
    Stargate Tone: Hello Fael :)*
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Fael :)
    Zen Arado: Hi Fael :)
Eden Haiku: Hello Fael, great outfit!
Vendy Walpole: Seems thsi time my mind'simagination mixed with Being, the song of birds took me to different nature landscapes. At each scene, in the forest, at the tropics or at the field I felt huge peace
Eden Haiku: No, not really, just looking from a different angle of Being camera kind of...
Vendy Walpole: Not sure was it Being or imagination, but felt peaceful
Eden Haiku: I sse what you mean Vendy: like many moments in one moment?
Zen Arado: my experiences are more mundane :)
    Wol Euler: do tell :)
    Vendy Walpole: yes, like flashes
Eden Haiku: Please tell us Zen...
Vendy Walpole: but bathed in peace
    Zen Arado: nothing to tell...
    Repose Lionheart: deep thing that
    Eden Haiku: LOL
Zen Arado: I find the present moment ptetty ordinary for the most part
    Zen Arado: never have 'experiences'
Fael Illyar: funny, I have experiences all the time :)
Eden Haiku: Even in the presence of two royals for Ancient Egypt?
Wol Euler: I find that the delight of life is in its ordinariness.
    Eden Haiku: *From
    Zen Arado: :)
Pema Pera: Aubergine, if I may ask, did you try to let Being see, did you find a way to get your toes in, so to speak?
Pema Pera: into the water, that is :-)
    Aubergine Mint: I think so
Pema Pera: can you say a few words about how that felt?
Aubergine Mint: seems to be a matter of attention
Aubergine Mint: and calming my thoughts
Aubergine Mint: maybe I need more than 90 sec
    Pema Pera: :)
Wol Euler: hello yosho, I'll give you a quick intro in IM so that we don't disturb the group
    Yosho Sirnah: k
Pema Pera: no rush, it's mostly a matter of getting familiar with a different way of being
Pema Pera: Repose, did you get a chance to play with Being?
    Mogura Yokosuka: hi
    Calvino Rabeni: greetings mogura
    Vendy Walpole: Hello Mogura, welcome
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello
    Zen Arado: Hi Mogura
Mogura Yokosuka: what is this place?
Eden Haiku: You are wlcome to sit down if you want to find out Mogura,
Calvino Rabeni: (wish I had a quick answer!)
    --BELL--
Calvino Rabeni: We are here to learn about being mindful
    Mogura Yokosuka: :)
Calvino Rabeni: there is a bell - when it rings we pause and put awareness on what is present
Pema Pera: (I'm off to the phenomenology workshop in the Kira Cafe -- anyone is welcome to join us there! We'll talk about the "epoche" etc)
Zen Arado: 'realizations are mare important than experiences' I read lately
Repose Lionheart: sorry, Pema -- was looking back at previous comments moment ago
    Eden Haiku: Bye Pema!
Repose Lionheart: i did -- i just sat
Calvino Rabeni: I must fo to that also - thanks all!
Wol Euler: oh, yes! I'll be there in a moment
Pema Pera: np, Repose, thank you!
    Stargate Tone: _/!\_ to Pema
Eos Amaterasu: bye all, go to go....
Vendy Walpole: I am interested in it
    Eden Haiku: Bye Eos!
Zen Arado: one thing puzzles me - aren't you present the rest of the time besides the 15 min bell?
    Zen Arado: bye Pema
    Stargate Tone: bye Eos
Wol Euler: bye for now, take care
    Zen Arado: bye Wol
    Eden Haiku: Bye !
    Stargate Tone: bye Wol
    Zen Arado: bye Eos
Agatha Macbeth: C ya Wol :)
    Mogura Yokosuka: bye
Repose Lionheart: good to see you, Zen ã‹¡
    Aubergine Mint: bye everyone

    Agatha Macbeth: Sayonara
Fael Illyar: Well, time for me to go bed too.
Fael Illyar: Good night everyone :)
    Eden Haiku: Bye Zen!
    Arisia Vita: night Fael
    Mogura Yokosuka: see you
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Fael
    Stargate Tone: _/!\_Fael
    Eden Haiku: Goonite Fael!
Agatha Macbeth: After the dust settled...........
    Eden Haiku: ;-)
Eden Haiku: I never met any of you before...
Agatha Macbeth: Always a first time!
Eden Haiku: Have been at Play as Being for a long time Agatha?
Eden Haiku: I have been coming here for a month or so now.
Agatha Macbeth: I tend to pop in and out so to speak!
Agatha Macbeth: I might start spending more time here now actually.....
Eden Haiku: What about you Arisia and Stargate. mogura is here for the firts time I think,
Mogura Yokosuka: it s first time , i come here
Arisia Vita: I must leave my friends...see you all later I hope
Stargate Tone: well; I've dropped by almost from PaB's beginning
Eden Haiku: You are welcome Mogura.
    Agatha Macbeth: C ya Ari
Eden Haiku: See you later Arisia, Stargate,
Stargate Tone: sry; I also got a call
Stargate Tone: wishing good time to you all *
    Stargate Tone: _/!\_
    Stargate Tone: hearts
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye for now
Eden Haiku: You look really beautiful Stargate!
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeah she did
Eden Haiku: So it is only the three of us now...
Mogura Yokosuka: i ll vist here next time
    Mogura Yokosuka: thank you
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye
    Mogura Yokosuka: bye
    Eden Haiku: Bye Moguraé
Agatha Macbeth: Are you a guardian Eden?
    Eden Haiku: Welll...
    Mogura Yokosuka: bye
Eden Haiku: I am. So are you?
Agatha Macbeth: No, I was just wondering how long this thing will keep on recording for
Agatha Macbeth: Is it till the last guardian leaves?
Eden Haiku: Ah...well, I was trying my logging skills. That might me why. I still don't know how to do that...
Eden Haiku: Let me see if I can stop it...
Agatha Macbeth: Where *is* the recorder? In the fountain?
Eden Haiku: Yes. It seems Wol is still recording.
Agatha Macbeth: How can she record from so far away?
Eden Haiku: I have no idea how do it, I'M still learning ;-)
Eden Haiku: Where are you located in RL Agatha?
    Agatha Macbeth: England, you?
Eden Haiku: I live in Montreal.
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, I've met one or two Canadians here
Agatha Macbeth: Bet it's getting pretty cold there about now!
Eden Haiku: Yes, Fox is from Montreal also, and Paradise is from Toronto.
Agatha Macbeth: Hmm, I know Fox but i don't think I've met Paradise
Eden Haiku: Not yet, we are having a long Indian Summer. But today, it was snowing earlier ;-)
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: Oh well, I think I'll go and indulge in some Nekophilia :) Take care Eden, be seeing you
Eden Haiku: Take care Agatha, it was nice meeting you!
Eden Haiku: Talking to the recorder, sitting by myself at PaB pond, and through the recorder, to Wol: I'm trying to teach myself how to take the logging (that is a guardian duty isn'it, and I will have to start doing it. I read the tutorial, set my preferences but I'm still confused. Is there any mentoring system about it, fore guaradian newbies ;-) A step by step would be helpful. Thanks Wol. See you!
    Eden Haiku: _/|\_
