The Guardian for this meeting was Riddle Sideways. The very few comments are by Riddle Sideways.  But, Riddle is finally getting it posted.  It has been a busy week (or 3) around my circle.

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey qt
    Qt Core: Hi Yakuzza
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey storm
    Qt Core: hi Storm
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: ice scating on the gras ? :)
    Storm Nordwind: Greetings both :)
    Storm Nordwind: permafrost Yak!
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh, i should remember that for summer :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning riddle
    Qt Core: hi Riddle
    Riddle Sideways: good morning all
    Storm Nordwind waves
Riddle Sideways: had small problems getting this morning moving on time
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh, quints quantum economics is now on thothica ?
Riddle Sideways: ah icey, like my daugthers car today
Yakuzza Lethecus: so cold in california ?
Riddle Sideways: snow down to 800 feet
Riddle Sideways: snow falling here too
    Storm Nordwind: And here
Riddle Sideways: is beautiful to visit
Qt Core: snow only amove 1000 meters, here, i'm much lower
Riddle Sideways: those are patches of snow across the landscape?
    Storm Nordwind: Yes they are
Riddle Sideways: there has been a "Storm" here
Storm Nordwind: And there is an ice rink available to all Play as Being practitioners
That explains the ice skating entrances
Riddle Sideways: ooo, I remember trying to skate last year at Kira
Riddle Sideways: think I still have skates in inventory
Riddle Sideways: hard to fall in SL
Riddle Sideways: does not hard as much
Storm Nordwind: There's a skate dispenser at the entrance to the rink for aeveryone
    Riddle Sideways: *hurt
Yakuzza Lethecus: hmm, aren´t we a bit biased about the northern hemisphere ?
Riddle Sideways: hopefully no ice rink musak
Yakuzza Lethecus: what tamel might say :P
    Riddle Sideways: sorry, Yak
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, no for me it´s fine :)
Storm Nordwind: Yes we are Yak. That's just tough luck! ;-P
Storm Nordwind: But at least we are not imposing any religious tradition on anyone!
Qt Core: this image of buddhist monks ice skating just popped up in my mind ;-)
Riddle Sideways: this weekend the bloodmobile outside our temple was playing xmas carols :)
Storm Nordwind: I should change my outfit perhaps back to what it used to be - I've been meaning to for some time
Riddle Sideways: yes, storm you always looks so monkish
Qt Core: not that the idea of bishps or archbishops in "high-uniform" ice skating is bad ;-)
Storm Nordwind: Excuse me - just going to try something with the pool that I forgot when I installed the ice
Storm Nordwind: Good - that seems to work!
    Riddle Sideways watches storm majic
Storm Nordwind: I realized in the middle of the night that if someone wanted the pool to disappear, the ice would still stay!
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Funny thing to realize in the middle of night
Riddle Sideways: image what that sentence sounds like out of context
Storm Nordwind: I have to rely on my subconscious to do most of my thinking work for me!
Riddle Sideways: many people at a party this weekend were doing a simular experiment
Storm Nordwind: Oh yes? Please continue :)
Riddle Sideways: the liquid in their glasses went away and the ice cubes remained :)
Riddle Sideways: Parties are great places to people watch/study
Riddle Sideways: there was very little (but beautiful) food
Riddle Sideways: little trays were carried through the crowd
Riddle Sideways: ppl lined up outside kitchen door
Riddle Sideways: to attack the next platter
Riddle Sideways: but pretend not to be doing so
Riddle Sideways: they pretended to talk of things that matter
Riddle Sideways: but watched those servers
Storm Nordwind: Perhaps they couldn't be political hawks, so they were gastronomic hawks instead! ;)
Riddle Sideways: at least birds of some feather
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Storm Nordwind: Such basic desires drive us
Riddle Sideways: yes, but how some try to cover it
Riddle Sideways: the illusion that we don't need
Storm Nordwind: The subtle art of being disingenuous carries over, sadly, into many parts of their life
Riddle Sideways: the desire to solve world hunger, health, peace, etc. but just want to watch the snow fall
Storm Nordwind: Oh I think we are allowed to do several of these at the same time. Because we have lofty ideals and actions, it doesn't mean we shoulg forsake fun in the process! Just be honest about it, that's all! :)
    Storm Nordwind: *should
Riddle Sideways: ah, thatz what I meant "to be honest about it"
Riddle Sideways: so many are not being honest
Storm Nordwind: Many cultures, American culture in particular it seems to me, seem to discourage such honesty, or at least not reward it
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: In a profit/competition society, what value has honesty?
Qt Core: even here in old europe there are p;eople believing that having fun, even while doing your work/duty is almost a sin
Riddle Sideways: Honest Abe's car dealership?
Riddle Sideways: QT, my boss feels the same way :)
Storm Nordwind: Those kinds of bosses didn't last long with me around! >;->
Riddle Sideways: I might not last long around that boss
Riddle Sideways: but, was thinking about state changes
Riddle Sideways: like the water to/from ice
Riddle Sideways: teh state change takes much energy
    Riddle Sideways: then poof
Riddle Sideways: those elegent people took a lot of energy to change
Riddle Sideways: then poof, fashioinable lady pulled gown above knees and danced with wuch abandon
    Riddle Sideways: *such
Riddle Sideways: we are stuck in our track
Riddle Sideways: then some 15 min gong goes off
    Riddle Sideways: state change
Storm Nordwind: Keeps us from getting overinvested in worthless things!
Riddle Sideways: a super saturated solution... then one more molecule... poof
Riddle Sideways: ... I love my worthless things :D
Storm Nordwind: Then perhaps they are not worthless!
    Riddle Sideways: ah yes,
Riddle Sideways: these grey socks are worthless and priceless
Storm Nordwind: But could you give them away to someone today?
    Riddle Sideways: of course
    Storm Nordwind smiles
Storm Nordwind: Then you carry them lightly! :))
Riddle Sideways: what was the last thing you gave away ?
Storm Nordwind: Materially? All my furniture and my musical equipment...
Storm Nordwind: Conceptually? My close-mindedness to different ways of looking at reality
Riddle Sideways wonders what "give away" means spiritally / mentally
Riddle Sideways: oops, you answered before I could type
    Storm Nordwind smiles
Storm Nordwind: Emotionally? My ties to my family and country and friends
    --BELL--
Storm Nordwind: Spiritually? My link to one guide so that another could take over
Riddle Sideways: no fair Storm, you are way too good at this :)
Storm Nordwind: I am an ordinary person. I simply do extraordinary things. As can we all at some time. :)
Riddle Sideways: Have been watching my children both do extroordinary things
Qt Core: (hiding away with mine ideas and things lile linus and his blanket)
    Qt Core: forgot (in ahsme)
Riddle Sideways: they are still my babies, but they are doing the most amazing things to/in the world
Yakuzza Lethecus sneaks away, bye everyone
    Qt Core: bye Yak
Riddle Sideways: funny, how you see yourslef hiding. when the rest of us don't
Qt Core: hiding in plain sight, the best way
Riddle Sideways: or keeping your left foot on solid ground while skating away
Qt Core: (going back to the beginning about people not admitting their real needs/desire claming others needs and desires)
    Riddle Sideways: the golden teather
Riddle Sideways: the keeping of the facade
Riddle Sideways: until the joy of the new state overwelms the holding on
Riddle Sideways: the hoping that the ice rink has hand rails to hold to?
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Qt Core: or coshioned ice
    Qt Core: cushioned
Storm Nordwind: There is a central bandstand and walls around the edges. I may throw snowballs at you though!
Riddle Sideways: the fear of flying
Qt Core: throwing snowballs... i love to throw things ;-)
Riddle Sideways: the fear of being hit with snow balls
Riddle Sideways: the fear of starting a sentence and getting ADS in the ..
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Qt Core: being able to evade them is much more important that throwing them.... especially if you grew up in a neighborough where some nasty kids used to put stones inside the snowballs.,..
    Riddle Sideways: "Adult Distraction Sin...
    Riddle Sideways: or ice balls
Storm Nordwind: We played a game called "ball tag" at school. That was perfect for practising avoiding or fending off balls with a fist
Riddle Sideways: I play Aiki dodge ball with the kids class
    --BELL--
Storm Nordwind: Off course there's he instant wrathful karma technique - of catching the snowball with minimal damage and hurling it back again. Has the element of surprise too. They tend not to include many stones after that! :)
    Qt Core: good reflexes
Storm Nordwind: Yes - still much faster than most people :)
Qt Core: and a nice touch in grabbing the thing
Riddle Sideways: sorry folks, but I must go
    Riddle Sideways: please continue
Storm Nordwind: OK Riddle. So must I
    Qt Core: same here
Qt Core: so no snoball fight ;-)
Storm Nordwind: Follow me if you want one!
Qt Core: no, things to do in rl
