    Bolonath Crystal: i never had an avatar before
    Calvino Rabeni: I mean, the SL entity - when you click on the Profile.

    Bolonath Crystal: i use sl only for the pab sessions

    Calvino Rabeni: I have a list of groups, but it is to get notices.
    Bolonath Crystal: i just read your profile. quite a lot of groups, yes
    Calvino Rabeni: Actually I do other Kira activities, but that's it mainly
    Calvino Rabeni: Occasionaly pop in for a poetry reading.
    Bolonath Crystal: i am probably more the 'hermit type'

    Calvino Rabeni: Ah, I call myself something like that - sometimes I say "warrior monk" but the rough stuff is in the past.
    Calvino Rabeni: Unless you count leaving my hermit den, the warrior activity :)
    Bolonath Crystal: hm, the world outside the den is sometimes more or less war-like
    Bolonath Crystal: but i try nmot to hide too much ;)
    Calvino Rabeni: my master used to tell me, the true war is within :)
    Bolonath Crystal: well, the inner conflicts are at least worth winning

    Bolonath Crystal: outer conflicts i am trying to avoid. no use to fight for money or power
    Calvino Rabeni: What about social or environmental justice, or truth, or something else?
    Calvino Rabeni: I am asking myself this question
    Bolonath Crystal: justice and truth are relative. why should i fight for a truth, which can't be taken from or given to anybody anyway?
    Bolonath Crystal: only to proof that i am right?
    Calvino Rabeni: I see
    Calvino Rabeni: I must not be a relativist in that sense
    Calvino Rabeni: I wish to be of some help or service in some way
    Calvino Rabeni: I used to identify more with Lao Tzu, who is said to have wandered off into the mountains
    Bolonath Crystal: why did he do that?
    Bolonath Crystal: to avoid wordly trouble?
    Calvino Rabeni: Some say, to escape the folly of people
    Calvino Rabeni: He didn't believe efforts could improve the world
    Bolonath Crystal: hm, somehow i think similar
    Bolonath Crystal: it would be enough, if everybody tries to improve in his personal spirituality
    Bolonath Crystal: outer world effords might be worthwhile, if the aim is to help others in their personal struggle for that

    Calvino Rabeni: and like to think they need not do it alone

    Calvino Rabeni: religion theory ranges from very impersonal to very personal

'pure being is oneness'

    Bolonath Crystal: i suppose our planet to be a living being. it is in its best condition, if the individuals work together hand in hand. just like any individual body is healthy as long as the cells work together in harmony
    Bolonath Crystal: not much room for fighting here
    Bolonath Crystal: and the same of course for the whole multiverse
    Bolonath Crystal: in my opinion individuals are merely the ego-carriers, at which perceptions crystallise to form universes. the pure being is oneness

    Bolonath Crystal: a strange opinion?
    Calvino Rabeni: no, I don't think it strange
    Bolonath Crystal: most people do ;)
    Calvino Rabeni: I'm not sure I understand the implications though
    Bolonath Crystal: well, one of the most important implication is that i harm myself if i harm others
    Calvino Rabeni: I remember contemplating that for myself
    Calvino Rabeni: it is complex somtimes.
    Bolonath Crystal: look at the evolution. atoms form molecules, molecules form cells, cells form bodies, bodies form groups - and so on and so on, until the assembly is finished: back to oneness
    Calvino Rabeni: Ethics sometimes seem paradoxical
    Calvino Rabeni: Say someone wants to abuse me
    Calvino Rabeni: That presents a dilemma
    Calvino Rabeni: To withdraw, they may not give it up, or may direct it to others
    Calvino Rabeni: To accept it, would harm myself and by that, others
    Bolonath Crystal: the true self can't be abused or harmed. only the ego
    Bolonath Crystal: so conflicts between people are always conflicts between their egos
    Bolonath Crystal: if you think of ego as something you have - not as something you are - nobody will be able to harm you
    Calvino Rabeni: hmmm
    Calvino Rabeni: I don't believe in ego, so I guess no one can harm me, except

    Calvino Rabeni: if they believe in it, and they feel they have harmed me, then that is not good for them to have done that and believed that
    Calvino Rabeni: No one truly wants to be a harmer
    Bolonath Crystal: so you can help others by letting no one harm you :)
    Calvino Rabeni: that makes sense to me

stories of oxen, stallions and a pair of shoes

    Bolonath Crystal: i wouldn't say i don't believe in ego. actually i can sense ego within me. but i try not to identify with it
    Bolonath Crystal: i try to wear my ego like a pair of shoes
    Calvino Rabeni: I have something in mind like, ego is a stallion, I ride it
    Calvino Rabeni: and it likes that :)
    Calvino Rabeni: OH - right, the zen ox herding pictures
    Calvino Rabeni: the ox is the ego in that story
    Calvino Rabeni: so, a stallion or an ox
    Bolonath Crystal: that might be the inner war your master talked about: not to let the stallion take control of the ride
    Bolonath Crystal: ah yes, i remember the ox story
    Calvino Rabeni: the beast is happier than it used to be
    Calvino Rabeni: it is contented
    Calvino Rabeni: sometimes feisty - not completely tame perhaps, I don't mean that
    Calvino Rabeni: I remember one time, riding a horse at night
    Calvino Rabeni: I could not see a thing.
    Calvino Rabeni: Horses have night vision
    Bolonath Crystal: so you needed to have a lot of trust in the horse
    Calvino Rabeni: No deep meaning here, but I trusted the horse, and it did what it wanted, which benefited both of us
    Calvino Rabeni: yes that is it :)

    Calvino Rabeni: So I gave up some ego to let the horse lead right then
