    Lucinda Lavender: Good morning Gaya
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Lucinda :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: How are you?
    Lucinda Lavender: pretty good
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: and you?
Gaya Ethaniel: Not bad thanks, just doing my homework for tomorrow's Ways of Knowing meeting :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Wonder if you're awake enough to tell me more about colours ... ^^;;;
Lucinda Lavender: I sure would love too
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: what are some of your wonderings?
Gaya Ethaniel: A while ago, I was talking to a friend about loving kindness meditation.
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Gaya Ethaniel: I was doing it hm ... somewhat unconventionally I found out.
    Lucinda Lavender: in what way?
Gaya Ethaniel: Something I just made up ... visualising a gold sphere, stretching in and out.
Gaya Ethaniel: Somehow picked gold ...
Gaya Ethaniel: He thought that interesting.
Lucinda Lavender: Well my teacher had a kind of vision...
Lucinda Lavender: and there was an infinity symbol sort of shape. made of colors. There was silver and gold part of it..
    Gaya Ethaniel: oh
Lucinda Lavender: I will look up about gold for you...
    Gaya Ethaniel: ty :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Is white considered similar to silver btw?

    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: yes. I think so
Gaya Ethaniel: Looks like you can hear the bell now?
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah ok
    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
    Gaya Ethaniel: Great :)
Lucinda Lavender: It was a problem with having two versions of 2L..
Lucinda Lavender: I got rid of one and no problem
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah :)
Lucinda Lavender: actually there are gold overtones in every sphere
Lucinda Lavender: yellow with weight added
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes like the Moon ...
    Lucinda Lavender: hmmm yes
Lucinda Lavender: expansive of the heart
    Gaya Ethaniel listens :)
Lucinda Lavender: shines in to you and attunes you with Inees
    Lucinda Lavender: "Iness"
    Gaya Ethaniel: Iness?
    Lucinda Lavender: selfness?
Gaya Ethaniel: ah ... I see.
Lucinda Lavender: with a big S
    Gaya Ethaniel: Like brilliant energy?
Gaya Ethaniel: hm ... gold and silver hey?
    Gaya Ethaniel: Yang and yin?
    Lucinda Lavender: clarity and expansion
    Lucinda Lavender: knowledge
Gaya Ethaniel: ah ... I see.
Gaya Ethaniel: Interesting yes that I felt like choosing gold for loving kindness meditation, taking and sending.
Lucinda Lavender: the relentless need to know more
Gaya Ethaniel: As you said, gold means expansion in your teacher's opinion.
Lucinda Lavender: the internet is related
    Gaya Ethaniel: ?
Lucinda Lavender: calling us to clarify facts
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: liberating humanity from self-illusion
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Or adding more delusions :P
Lucinda Lavender: cosmology is in this sphere
Lucinda Lavender: as opposed to science which is blue
Gaya Ethaniel: You see science as blue?
Lucinda Lavender: we integrate science and spirituality...and uncover more
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I think I know why I like pastel colours :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Adding white into the edginess.
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...yes?
Gaya Ethaniel: I like what white can do I mean ... you add white into other colours, it softens them.
Lucinda Lavender: and then somehow it feels like they are taken in...
    Gaya Ethaniel: ?
    Lucinda Lavender: don't know...
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: softness is there
    Gaya Ethaniel: mhm :)
Lucinda Lavender: have you seen any aurora?
Gaya Ethaniel: You mean Northern lights?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes?
Gaya Ethaniel: Not yet ... I'd love to one day.
Lucinda Lavender: I heard there is the potential right now
Lucinda Lavender: due to the Sun's explosion
Gaya Ethaniel: Really ... sun activity has been very low.
Gaya Ethaniel: ah interesting ... must check on the net.
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
Lucinda Lavender: there are geomagnetic storms
    Lucinda Lavender: whatever those are
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: supposedly over the higher latitudes
    Gaya Ethaniel: Yes :)
Lucinda Lavender: red and green in the sky
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi bruce!
Gaya Ethaniel: They are really beautiful ... :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Bruce :)
Lucinda Lavender: never have seen them myself
Gaya Ethaniel: Me neither ... yet :)

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Luci and Gaya.
Lucinda Lavender: know anything about the sun's effects recently on the earth...spaceweather .com
Gaya Ethaniel: Yep, that's the site I go too :)
    Lucinda Lavender: brb...pouring coffee water.
Gaya Ethaniel: Bruce, we were talking about aurora borealis ... :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: http://spaceweather.com/aurora/image...11m01k4omko0v4
Bruce Mowbray: Yes -- just went to the website -- I'm wondering if this might be affecting the weird behavior I'm having in SL last night and this morning.
Bruce Mowbray: I crashed four times at Pila's I Ching group and once this morning just after meditation.
    Gaya Ethaniel: heh
Bruce Mowbray: I'd been thinking it was just my server...
Bruce Mowbray: What have you folks said about the aurora so far?
Gaya Ethaniel: Lucinda brought it up as we were talking about colours initially.
Gaya Ethaniel: I'm just waiting to see if there is a connection or if the discussion is just flowing.
Gaya Ethaniel: Let me make a notecard of what we'd said before you came Bruce.
Bruce Mowbray: ty -- That would be good.
    Lucinda Lavender: back...
    Gaya Ethaniel: wb :)
    Bruce Mowbray: got it. Thanks.
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I was just thinking that the sky shows so many colors...
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes an infinite variety ...
Lucinda Lavender: and sunlight does infuse them all
Gaya Ethaniel: Likes shapes of clouds ...
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: so to hold gold in ones meditation ...would be like a gift the sun brings
Gaya Ethaniel: Yes that makes sense :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Pila would say yang energy :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Aphrodite :)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Aphrodite
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, again, Aph.
    Gaya Ethaniel: I thought Aphrodite was Agatha's alt ^^;;;
Gaya Ethaniel: Their names sound similar.
    Lucinda Lavender: :))
Aphrodite Macbain: Hi. No I'm someone else's alt!
    Gaya Ethaniel: heh :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Well aren't we all someone's alt?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
Aphrodite Macbain: I've been having a hard time getting myself together this a.m.
Gaya Ethaniel: Where are you based in RL?
    Lucinda Lavender: :) llis curious
Gaya Ethaniel: Time zone wise ...
Lucinda Lavender: You are in my neighborhood aren't you...?
Lucinda Lavender: North west on the North America...
Gaya Ethaniel: ah ok so it is early for you Aphrodite.
Gaya Ethaniel: See Lucinda has coffee :)
Lucinda Lavender: yes and the first cup is so good...
    Lucinda Lavender: warming and waking...
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)

    --BELL--

Gaya Ethaniel: As you know Aphrodite, you're welcome to just sit here with us and wake up slowly :)
Aphrodite Macbain: :-) I appreciate your understanding. Now I have a cup of coffee I can do that!
Gaya Ethaniel: I had this on my facebook news feed today.
    Lucinda Lavender: ?
Gaya Ethaniel: Six Words of Advice from Tilopa Don't recall. Don't imagine. Don't think. Don't examine. Don't control. Rest.
Gaya Ethaniel: Ken McLeod's version: Let go of what has passed. Let go of what may come. Let go of what is happening now. Don't try to figure anything out. Don't try to make anything happen. Relax, right now, and rest.
Aphrodite Macbain: Nice. Can I rest and still drink coffee!?:-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Why not :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I like Mr. McLeod translations.
Gaya Ethaniel: I find them clear and approachable.
Bruce Mowbray: These instructions are especially valuable when doing the Time Sessions assignment for this week.
    Gaya Ethaniel: oh?
    Aphrodite Macbain: ??
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Visitor :)
    Visitor: hello
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Visitor.
Gaya Ethaniel: Have you been here before?
    Visitor: never
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hello!
Gaya Ethaniel: Alright, I will give you a short intro about this group in IM :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Would you like to say more Bruce?
Aphrodite Macbain: Please take a seat Visitor!
Aphrodite Macbain: Make yourself comfortable :-)
Bruce Mowbray: I don't know if any of you are doing the Times Sessions (Friday mornings), but this week's assignment is simply to let go of all ideas about what Time and Existence might be -- and just see time as rising every moment -- COMPLETELY FRESH and new -- no causation, no past, no future. . .
Bruce Mowbray: just arising in this moment - nothing else.
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Bruce Mowbray: So that's why I said that the instructions (Ken McLeod's translation) were helpful.
    Gaya Ethaniel: ah :)
Aphrodite Macbain: that would be extremely difficult for me!!
Bruce Mowbray: btw -- When are the Ways of Knowing sessions held?
Gaya Ethaniel: Pema used to share the advices with us. But I find Ken McLeod's translation very helpful.
Gaya Ethaniel: Tomorrow at Kira 2 pm SLT :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Thanks!
Gaya Ethaniel: We will continue with 'patience'.
Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks! I have never been to Kira
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Bruce Mowbray: I'll study the WoK wiki logs to try to catch up with your group.
Gaya Ethaniel: Full event list here - http://kira.org/
Gaya Ethaniel: Check the calendar Aphrodite :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Thanks again.
Gaya Ethaniel: Hope you enjoy it Bruce :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Bruce Mowbray: I'm sure that I shall - - - and hope to be able to just "let it all rise" !
Aphrodite Macbain: PaB keeps expanding my world for me
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: That's nice to hear Aphrodite :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Always new doorways leaning to corridors which lead to new doorways!
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Alfred :)

Bruce Mowbray: Luci, before the rest of us arrived, you and Gaya were discussing colors, lights in the sky, and auroras. . .
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Bruce Mowbray: anything more to say about that?
    Lucinda Lavender: well
Aphrodite Macbain: You were talking about colours
Lucinda Lavender: she asked me about the color gold which was part of a meditation with loving kindness
    Bruce Mowbray: say more, please.
Lucinda Lavender: I was sharing a bit about my teacher’s thoughts on gold...
Lucinda Lavender: it happened that we have had a cme coronal mass ejection that created some lights in the sky... and I was connection our conversation to that
    Lucinda Lavender: sort of synchronistcally
Bruce Mowbray: yes, I saw that in your notecard. . .

    Alfred Kelberry: huh?

    Alfred Kelberry: that's true
Lucinda Lavender: as my buddhist nun friend says...the body like a water bubble...
Alfred Kelberry: and when it's time to go we turn into vapor? :)
