    Agatha Macbeth: Japanese
    adoro Rhapsody: wow
adoro Rhapsody: what an act !
Agatha Macbeth: A hard act to follow :)
Bruce Mowbray: The song says, "Let's move like cats and dogs move."
Agatha Macbeth: I never saw a cat or dog play a tambourine
    adoro Rhapsody: interesting
Bruce Mowbray: mine didn't work all the way through the song, though.
    Bruce Mowbray: Don't know why.
Agatha Macbeth: I think the AO interferes
    --BELL--
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Mick.
Zen Arado: did you see the cat/dog video interaction on Youtube?
    Zen Arado: http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/vid...5158015&ref=mf
    Mickorod Renard: Hiya
    Eden Haiku: Hey Mickorod :)
    arabella Ella: Hiya everyone
Agatha Macbeth: Hello Mick, Ara :)
    Zen Arado: Hi Mick, Ara

arabella Ella: oh sorry give me a min am watching video
    arabella Ella: :)
Eden Haiku: Neither do I...No FB for me...
Mickorod Renard: she doesnt know its there,,i did it with a pen one day when she was asleep
    Agatha Macbeth grins
Bruce Mowbray: I discontinued my accoubnt several months ago.
Zen Arado: can sometimes get them on Youtube too
Eden Haiku: I lasted only 4 days on Facebook and hated it.
adoro Rhapsody: when u look for "ecolution Groningen" u see a new ship totaly on solar and wind and water energy
arabella Ella: lovely video thanks to whoever pointed to it :)
    arabella Ella: apologies Eden
adoro Rhapsody: its from our first dutch astronaut
    Eden Haiku: Np
arabella Ella: I think Mick answered your question right?
    adoro Rhapsody: wubbo Ockels
Mickorod Renard: you need at least one friend to be on facebook
    Eden Haiku: He did :)))
    arabella Ella giggles
Mickorod Renard: it was permanent ink though
arabella Ella: well I love facebook and some of my SL friends are my friends there too :)
Agatha Macbeth: That sounds like a SL name
Zen Arado: I have a love/hate relationship with FB
Eden Haiku: Well a friend of mine created my account at my place and then I ended up being friends with people I'm avoiding at book parties...IT was pretty annoying...
    Agatha Macbeth: :P
Zen Arado: have gone off Twitter atm
Eden Haiku: I adore Twitter though. But I don't use my RL identity. Makes things much easier :)
Zen Arado: too many people want to be my spiritual advisor
    Zen Arado: :)
arabella Ella: i've never tried Twitter but I get the feeling it needs a lot more time than FB
Mickorod Renard: thats a good idea,,create a facebook account under the name of someone you dont like,,then be really horrid to everyone that contacts you
    Mickorod Renard: :)
arabella Ella: I know lots of ppl who have FB accounts in other fake names or using their SL names
    adoro Rhapsody: :-)
Agatha Macbeth: Is it true they don't let you use avatar pictures on your profile?
    Zen Arado: don't think so
arabella Ella: lots of people have avatar pictures on their profile on FB
Eden Haiku: That would be a fun experience Mick...grinning devilishly...
    Zen Arado: or blanks
arabella Ella: especially those who are members of groups on FB related to SL
    adoro Rhapsody: or cartoons
Agatha Macbeth: I thought they cleared them all off or something
    arabella Ella: no
arabella Ella: you could have a picture of anything you wish (as long as it does not offend others I guess)
Mickorod Renard: that would rule out a picture of myself then
    Agatha Macbeth: Hee
    adoro Rhapsody: hahah
    arabella Ella: LOL
Zen Arado: I have 2 pab friends on Facebook
    adoro Rhapsody: wow
Zen Arado: we should have a page there
arabella Ella: yes Zen let me know if you set one up
arabella Ella: and please feel free to link to me on FB Zen
Zen Arado: hoped someone else would :)
arabella Ella: (but not as arabella!)
    arabella Ella: LOL
Zen Arado: I'll send you my FB name
arabella Ella: i think i have three or four PaB friends there
Zen Arado: well you aren't a mutual friend with these
    Zen Arado: strange
Mickorod Renard: my take on it is thatI dont really like contact on the internet,,its made people become less concerned with making the effort to stay in touch personally
Zen Arado: and you know them vry well
arabella Ella: strange things happen :)
Zen Arado: it can work the other way too Mick
Mickorod Renard: you cant beat just tapping on the door of an old friend in person
Eden Haiku: Just checked my Twitter timeline on iPad . Some woman from Bangolore juste posted a picture of as star cat who gave birth to a kitten in her courtyard. She told me yesterday they were sleeping in her garage and now she is sending the pic. I love that kind of silly anecdotes, especailly about cats.
Zen Arado: but you have a point Mick
Bruce Mowbray: Pamala Clift's Think Tank (tomorrow morning at 8 slt) will discuss Mick's point.
    Mickorod Renard: yes?
Bruce Mowbray: about communication in SL --
    --BELL--
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5jNpJC6yG8
    Bruce Mowbray: oops. sorry.
Eden Haiku: Tapping on the door of an old friend in person has its own timeless charm Mick...True :)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Unfortunately (perhaps) my nearest friend lives 27 miles away.
arabella Ella: but ... with FB you can easily say Happy Birthday to old friends across the ocean in real time at no cost
Mickorod Renard: even the phone is becoming defunct due to the email
Eden Haiku: With Twitter and email and Skype also...
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think more through skype :)
    Mickorod Renard: thanks Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: yw, Mick. That's the LM for Pamala's group -- You might enjoy it, if you've not been there before.
Eden Haiku: Cant's see the video. Must be a "Flash" one...
Mickorod Renard: well,,i become frustrated that my own family choose to send me emails instead of picking the phone up to talk
    adoro Rhapsody: ok
Mickorod Renard: I dont open their mails
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Eden Haiku: ;))
Eden Haiku: You are a resistant Mick!
Mickorod Renard: are you a regular at these events Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, pretty regular --- I've been here for three or four sessions so far today.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i also go there regularly
    Zen Arado: another addict!
Mickorod Renard: sorry, i meant the place u sent the lm for
Bruce Mowbray: (actually, I'm just keeping an eye on Yaku - making sure he behaves).
Mickorod Renard: you do too Yaku?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, of course, it´s in voice :P
    Yakuzza Lethecus: lol
    Mickorod Renard: voice? oh noooo
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes -- I go to Pamala's group every other week (it meets only once every two weeks).
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Pam's group is in voice.
    Mickorod Renard: sounds fun
Zen Arado: what is the group so I can join?
arabella Ella: could you say more about it Bruce please?
    Bruce Mowbray: Roadside Philosophers.
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, she sounds fun :)
Agatha Macbeth: You have the ption to use txt or notecard too
    Agatha Macbeth: o
Mickorod Renard: although i am not that fond of voice on sl,,i have done it,,i am a bit self concious
Zen Arado: can't find it :(
Bruce Mowbray: If you click on my profile and look at my groups, you will find Roadside Philosophers -- and your can join the group there.
arabella Ella: could you give me the name of the group Bruce please?
    Bruce Mowbray: Roadside Philosophers
    Yakuzza Lethecus: roadside philosophers
Bruce Mowbray: Yaku is also a member.
Zen Arado: searched for roadside philosophers but can't find match
Yakuzza Lethecus: go through either one of our profiles
Bruce Mowbray: In my profile -- under my groups "The Roadside Philosophers"
arabella Ella: thanks I just joined too :)
    Bruce Mowbray: cool!
arabella Ella: got it from your profile Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: tomorrow morning at 8 slt.
    arabella Ella: 8am SLT?
    Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
Eden Haiku: Is it always on Saturdays Bruce ?
arabella Ella: ok then Yaku is that 5pm for us?
    Bruce Mowbray: every other saturday.
    Zen Arado: ok joined too
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, right ara
    Mickorod Renard: ok,,i joined
Zen Arado: we'll stir things up Ara :)
Eden Haiku: Ah, Saturdays is not good for me: we go at Farmers Market...But i joined too so I will get the notecards, thanks.
Bruce Mowbray: Pamala gives everyone who arrives on time ten linden dollars.
    arabella Ella: LOL
    Zen Arado: bribery huh
Eden Haiku: Ah, funny incentive :))
arabella Ella: great incentive but not sure yet whether i can make it at that time tomorrow
    arabella Ella: doubtful
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
    arabella Ella: regretfully
Bruce Mowbray: She has already told every in the group this so I am not breaking confidence -- but. . .
Bruce Mowbray: during the past week she's had a major change in her relationship with her SL partner, Yossel.
Mickorod Renard: wherabouts are you Eden?,,roughly,,like on what continent?
Bruce Mowbray: He was hospitalized for several days and couldn't comunicate with her...
Eden Haiku: Asking us not to go there and claim our 10 L hey Bruce ?
Bruce Mowbray: and she had to go through his son to get to him...
Bruce Mowbray: She will no doubt say something of that tomorrow.
    Zen Arado: ok
arabella Ella: how stressful it must have been
arabella Ella: i can imagine her worry
Zen Arado: was only joking anyway
Eden Haiku: Oh, I live in Montreal, Quebec, That's in North America but I spend the summer in a little laurentian village.
Bruce Mowbray: It was very stressful indeed...
    Mickorod Renard: ok cool,,thanks
Eden Haiku: Pamala came here a few times too I think, didn 'T she?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I invited her here and she has visited a few times.
    --BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: Lucinda and Calvino know her personally in RL.
    arabella Ella: wow
    Eden Haiku: onigokko
    Mickorod Renard: he he he
    Eden Haiku: stop
    arabella Ella: RPFL
    arabella Ella: ROFL
    Eden Haiku: feels good!
    Bruce Mowbray: wow!!!!!!
Eden Haiku: Want some rave power Bruce?
Eden Haiku: Anyone one else would like the effect?
Bruce Mowbray: sure I love to have it!
    Bruce Mowbray: maximum cooliosity!
    Bruce Mowbray: Thank you, Eden.
Agatha Macbeth: I must go. Take care all
Eden Haiku: You are welcome Bruce. It was a free gift from Burning Life.
    Bruce Mowbray: bye, aggers!
    Eden Haiku: Bye Agatha!
    Mickorod Renard: bye ags
    arabella Ella: bye Ags
    Mickorod Renard: she went quick
Eden Haiku: Last day of her vacation, must feel sad ...
    Mickorod Renard: ouch
Eden Haiku: How is life Mick? Are you getting things sorted out?
    Zen Arado: bye Aga
Mickorod Renard: life is fine thanks, I am just making space for my rl
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am going to drop myself to bed
    Mickorod Renard: finding the balance
    Yakuzza Lethecus: night everyone
Eden Haiku: It's nice to meet you here :))
    Mickorod Renard: nite yaku
    Mickorod Renard: sleep well
Bruce Mowbray: good night, yaku and mick.
Eden Haiku: Drop and dream Yaku!
    Bruce Mowbray: me too.
    Bruce Mowbray: good night, all!
    arabella Ella: nite Yaku
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
    arabella Ella: bye Bruce
    Mickorod Renard: goodnight Bruce
Eden Haiku: Bye Mick, bye Bruce :)
Eden Haiku: Oh! First time I see that terrible laugh!
    Zen Arado: bye Bruce
    Zen Arado: bye Mick
    Zen Arado: oh and Yaku
Eden Haiku: No, I was mistaken, I think Mick is satying...
    Zen Arado: sorry
    arabella Ella: satay?
Mickorod Renard: well,,i do need to move on now
Mickorod Renard: maybe do some music stuff
Eden Haiku: Are you on Facebook now Zen, there is a kind of lag in your bye byes...:)))
    Zen Arado: no
    Zen Arado: was IMing someone
    Eden Haiku: smiles
    Zen Arado: sorry
Zen Arado: my typing is too slow for it
Eden Haiku: Bye Mick, enjoy your week end!
Mickorod Renard: ok,,c u all soon
    Zen Arado: bye Mick
arabella Ella: bye Mick enjoy the music
Mickorod Renard: thankyou,,love to you all
    Eden Haiku: Love you Mick!
    arabella Ella smiles
Zen Arado: nice thing to say
    Zen Arado: :)
Zen Arado: I better go too
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: love to you all too
arabella Ella: ah love makes the world go round, love is a many splendoured thing, love hurts
    Zen Arado: true
Eden Haiku: Love, love love, all you need is love!!!
Zen Arado: all of the above
    arabella Ella nods
arabella Ella: and the slogan comes to mind 'Make Love not War!'
    Zen Arado: romantic love anyway
    arabella Ella: yes
    Eden Haiku: Great message!
Zen Arado: but being hurt is good for us in a funny kind of way
arabella Ella: do you really think so?
Zen Arado: he said philosophically :)
    Eden Haiku: I disagree.
Zen Arado: trying to convince myself
arabella Ella: ah i thought so
    Zen Arado: :)
Eden Haiku: Hurt just happens and we have to accept it, I guess that's what you mean Zen...
arabella Ella: cos i guess we all admit that some hurts are so tough they are ... ouch ... i dunno
Zen Arado: but it kind of 'tenderizes' us
Eden Haiku: Breaking our hearts, they become more open...Maybe...Some people close off though.
Zen Arado: breaks through our tough self protection
    Zen Arado: yes Eden
arabella Ella: thing is if we knew hurt tenderised all people then we would know how to make callous people more tender prhaps?
Zen Arado: but we have a choice - to close up or open up
Eden Haiku: Ah, that would be useful to know how to do that Ara...
    Zen Arado: yes Ara
arabella Ella: then there is also ... some of us repeat the same mistakes over and over
arabella Ella: others as Eden said become more sceptical
    arabella Ella: or distrustful
Zen Arado: takes a long time to learn
    arabella Ella: or more open
Zen Arado: sometimes think gives us the same lesson over and over again until we learn it
    Zen Arado: lif*
    Zen Arado: life
Eden Haiku: Yes, we repeat oy you close off. But we know opening up, letting go of our defense mechanism is the way to go...
arabella Ella nods but it is not easy
Zen Arado: synchronicity - starting to accept that Eden
    Eden Haiku: Not easy no.
arabella Ella: fraid i must go now bye for now!
arabella Ella: great chat this last bit thanks!
Eden Haiku: Bye Ara, nice to see you :)))
    Zen Arado: bye Ara
Zen Arado: nice talking to you
Zen Arado: I was skeptical about that you remember Eden
    Eden Haiku: About?
    Zen Arado: synchronicity
Eden Haiku: Oh, synchronicity, I remember now...
    Zen Arado: yes
    Eden Haiku: And?
Zen Arado: the more you open to life - become one with the flow of it - the more things become synchronous
    Zen Arado: I think
Zen Arado: things happen for you
    Eden Haiku: Yes, that's true.
Eden Haiku: Glad to know you let that flow of energies into your heart Zen :)
Zen Arado: not by you controlling
    Zen Arado: trying to anyway
Zen Arado: or dropping control or something
Eden Haiku: Did your health crisis recently, did you now see it as an opportunity to open up to new energies?
Zen Arado: yes - it was a kind of awakening for me
Eden Haiku: Like the inner healer or something like that?
Eden Haiku: Oh, tell me more Zen :)
Zen Arado: just relaxing into the experience
Zen Arado: allowing people to do things for me
Zen Arado: and accepting things I didn't like
Zen Arado: better than a Zen retreat
    Zen Arado: :)
    Eden Haiku: smiles
Eden Haiku: Yes, a lot of sound lesson in that >bad" experience it seems :)
Zen Arado: it certainly made me feel a lot better in many ways
    Zen Arado: yes :)
Zen Arado: suffering is a shortcut to awakening I believe
Eden Haiku: Wonderful. And it made you think about death too (I saw that in a log). Always a good thing to think about our mortality.
Eden Haiku: Although I don't like to think about it :)
Zen Arado: ha ha - we were discussing how anyone would know if we died
Zen Arado: so we could have an SL funeral
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: I onlu have one SL RL friend
Zen Arado: and they might not tell her
Zen Arado: she doesn'tlive near me
Eden Haiku: Yes, I remember reading that. Scary and funny at the same time.
Zen Arado: amazed you read it :)
Zen Arado: any of us could die at any time - you have to face it
Zen Arado: and some of us are getting old :)
Eden Haiku: Just asked my boyfriend if he knows how to launch SL so he could tell you if I die suddenly. He turns around (he's making effplant for dinner) and says: "We will talk about it in 30-40 years..."
    Eden Haiku: *eggplant
Eden Haiku: I will die very very old according to his plans :))
Zen Arado: yes - typical attitude
Zen Arado: put off thinking about it
Zen Arado: if you realize you have no self there isn't anything TO die
Zen Arado: I do a death meditation sometimes
Zen Arado: I told you before I think
Eden Haiku: I talked about death with my mother a few months before she passed away, She was not sick but she knew her heart condition was getting worse...She wasn't afraid.
Zen Arado: my mother became very calm too
    Zen Arado: surprised me
Eden Haiku: A death meditation, no, that's interesting.
Zen Arado: very simple - you just say - death is certain, only the time of death is uncertain, so what should I do?
Zen Arado: and what you do is enjoy life in the present moment as best you can ?
Eden Haiku: Oh yes, I remember now, this sentence. I will tell it to myself now :)
Zen Arado: so it is a happy thing really
Eden Haiku: Enjoying this caht with you by the pool on a Friday afternnon (evening for you ) :))
Zen Arado: and it helps you face it when it comes
    Eden Haiku: *chat
    Zen Arado: me too
Zen Arado: but I guess I better go
Zen Arado: really this time :)
Zen Arado: I have to get to bed
Eden Haiku: It was really nice talking with you Zen! have a great week end!
Zen Arado: you too Eden :)
    Eden Haiku: Sweet dreams!
    Zen Arado: bye
    Eden Haiku: Good night dear!
