    Eden Haiku: Good morning Agatha,
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Eden
Eden Haiku: I love your dress!
Agatha Macbeth: It's 3.00 PM with me!
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh thanks!
Eden Haiku: Oh, you are in Europe?
Agatha Macbeth: You look rather red
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, England
Eden Haiku: All red now. A new persona :;-)
Agatha Macbeth: ah, a red persona?
    Eden Haiku: Yes :-)
Agatha Macbeth: Actually red and black are my favourite colours :)
Agatha Macbeth: You're up early are you not?
Eden Haiku: What would be the link between persona and Being you think? along with animus, anima and it I guess.
    Eden Haiku: Jung categories.
    Agatha Macbeth: Oooh, complex
Agatha Macbeth: Yeah, I'm *fairly* familiar with Jung
Eden Haiku: Yes...better stay with colors maybe.
Agatha Macbeth: Never quite sure how it relates tho the whole being tho
    Eden Haiku: *fairly*?
Agatha Macbeth: Well, I'm no expert
Eden Haiku: Persona must be something like the interface maybe?
Agatha Macbeth: Just what I read
    Agatha Macbeth: Could be:)
    Eden Haiku: Neither I.
Agatha Macbeth: You're in Canada are you not?
Eden Haiku: Would you have something you would like to focus on for the next 90 seconds Agatha?
Agatha Macbeth: We seem to have timeslip problems here
Eden Haiku: Yes, I live in Montreal. It is 10 o'clock in the morning, sunny with snow.
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, not so early then
Agatha Macbeth: I keep thinking in terms of California time here
Agatha Macbeth: Where it's just about sinrise I guess
    Agatha Macbeth: sunrise
    Agatha Macbeth: Freudian slip :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, SLT times, notecards times, all very confusing...And RL.
Eden Haiku: Sinrise is a very good slip! ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: I get major problems with the times here
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes! hee hee
Eden Haiku: My word is set at sinrise!
Agatha Macbeth: So, what's with the red look then?
Eden Haiku: *World. Another slip ;-)
Eden Haiku: Yes, that is the red look!
Agatha Macbeth: Scuse me a sec while put my lights on!
    Eden Haiku: Sure!
Eden Haiku: Already dark at 3 p.m. in England?
    Agatha Macbeth: Back again
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, that's the way it is at this time of year unfortunately
Eden Haiku: Here it is at 3h45.
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh right
Agatha Macbeth: I had the same prob last week, couldn't see what i was typing!
Eden Haiku: The darkest days of the year, the shortest.
Agatha Macbeth: Still, Xmas is coming!
Eden Haiku: But then the light comes back on the winter solstice.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay!
Eden Haiku: My Christmas tree is not done yet.
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I don't put mine up til Xmas eve!
    Agatha Macbeth: Lazy :)
Eden Haiku: So many things to organize at this time of year,
Eden Haiku: Do you find time for 9 seconds breaks?
Agatha Macbeth: Yes! Tell me about it
Agatha Macbeth: To be honest I'm still getting into it all
    Eden Haiku: Me too.
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: Are you a buddhist then Eden?
Eden Haiku: I'm kind-of buddhist yes.
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: Not quite sure yet? :)
Eden Haiku: Mostly interested in the Tibetan buddhism.
Agatha Macbeth: Are there different types then?
Eden Haiku: No, I mean I'm not too steady in practices...
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Eden Haiku: Well, they take different forms.Tibetan buddhism is more centered on Emptiness.
    Agatha Macbeth: Right
Agatha Macbeth: What is Nirvana exactly?
Eden Haiku: I met the dalai-lama in Bombay when I was the disciple of an Indian Guru. This is a complex story...
    Agatha Macbeth: Whoa
Eden Haiku: Nirvana would be the moment we ...
    Eden Haiku: The moment we...
Eden Haiku: The moment there is no more I. Just we?
Eden Haiku: We as with everything in the Universe. Like in the sound Om.
Eden Haiku: And we as nothingness, emptiness. Void.
Agatha Macbeth: Getting past the self, you mean?
Eden Haiku: Are you a buddhist yourself Agatha?
Agatha Macbeth: No, a *very* lapsed Catholic!
Agatha Macbeth: Who flirts with Zoroastrianism!
Eden Haiku: I was also raised a Catholic. With lots of flirts with many religions...
Agatha Macbeth: Can't beat a good flirt!
Eden Haiku: Zarathousthra, yes, that is interesting.
Agatha Macbeth: Yeah, Also Sprach and all that... :)
    Eden Haiku: Sprach?
Agatha Macbeth: Sorry, it's German- 'Thus spoke Zarathustra'
Eden Haiku: Hence our 'sinrise' this morning: catholic girls!
Agatha Macbeth: It's the name of that piece in 2001
Agatha Macbeth: Well, part of it: sunrise
    Agatha Macbeth: Not sinrise!
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    Eden Haiku: Hopefully...
Agatha Macbeth: Actually, that's the only part of the piece most people know
Agatha Macbeth: I wonder if anyone else is coming?
Eden Haiku: Of Nietszche book? Spelling...
    Agatha Macbeth: Nietzsche, yes
Agatha Macbeth: That inspired it I think
Eden Haiku: Good speller! Thanks ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, I *hate* spelling mistakes!
Eden Haiku: I don't know if anyone else is coming.
Agatha Macbeth: And people who put apostrophes in plurals! (aaaaaaaaarrgh!)
    Agatha Macbeth: (Kill! kill!)
Eden Haiku: I have been telling myself that I could practice the 9 secs awareness right here, watching my typos...
    Agatha Macbeth: Hee hee, sorry
Agatha Macbeth: Typos will always be with us dear
    --BELL--

A newcomer shows up who doesn't speak English

Eden Haiku: No apostrophes in plural?
Agatha Macbeth: People who say e.g. Cat's instead of Cats
Agatha Macbeth: -s indicates the plural: 's indicates possession
Eden Haiku: Oh, I see. Hi FranckParis!
Agatha Macbeth: So many people confuse them it's unreal
    FranckParis Bluebird: hello
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi FP!
FranckParis Bluebird: i speak french !!
    Agatha Macbeth: Bonjour!
    FranckParis Bluebird: bonjour
Eden Haiku: I like the way we get all carried away about spelling Agatha, Bonjour Franck.
Agatha Macbeth: well I do, just nitpicky :)
Eden Haiku: Ici, nous parlons anglais parce que tout est enregistré.
Eden Haiku: Est-ce que tu es d'accord pour être enregistré?
FranckParis Bluebird: alors je peux pas parlé
    FranckParis Bluebird: parlé
    Eden Haiku: hello QT!
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi QT
Qt Core: hi all (sorry but my french is only hipotetycal)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    FranckParis Bluebird: pas grave
Eden Haiku: No we will continue in English as usual Qt...
    Eden Haiku: Très bien alors.
Qt Core: (formally i have two school year about it) really only one and i was quite bad at it ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Not to worry QT
Eden Haiku: How are you today Qt?
Qt Core: it made me sad as the teacher was a nice person and knew french a lot
    Agatha Macbeth: She or he?
Qt Core: quite good, my internet and phone line broke some 4 hours ago and just come back a few minutes ago
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
Eden Haiku: Welcome back to the virtual world Qt!
Qt Core: she, she was an italian, with a french degree from la sorbone and teached french in french school for many years before coming back in italy
Qt Core: ty, the techs haven't noticed me yet of the repairs so maybe they will disconnect me for testing ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Well, you never know with techs :)
Eden Haiku: Oh, so if you vansih suddenly we won't worry,,,
Agatha Macbeth: Beam me up Scotty
    Eden Haiku: typos typos typos...
Agatha Macbeth: But no apostrophes :)
    Eden Haiku: Thank God no!
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, has our friend left then?
Qt Core: how i loved french accents ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Mmmm :)
Eden Haiku: I think he did. FranckParis you mean? Yes, when I handed him the PaB info, unfortunately.
Agatha Macbeth: The French have a way of making everything sound sexy! :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, Franck
Agatha Macbeth: Obviously not a Buddhist either....
Eden Haiku: Many people say that. I do a lot of poetry in voice chat and people say that a lot.
    Agatha Macbeth: :)

The 'Frenchman' gone, Agatha, Qt and I carry on with language issues and geographical concerns

Qt Core: the funny things is that northern italy dialects, especially from piedmont, have several things in common (i'm from lombardy)
Agatha Macbeth: Is that north or south QT?
Eden Haiku: Italian is a very recent language isn'it?
Qt Core: north, maybe you will recognize better a city, i'm from Milan
Qt Core: well, the first things wrote in italian and not latin are from 1100/1200
Agatha Macbeth: Milan is kind of in the middle of Italy is it not?
Agatha Macbeth: Or have I got that wrong?
Qt Core: no, that is Roma
Eden Haiku: I read a very beautiful short essay by an Italian-born writer who lives in Montreal: he says that he does not speak the same Italian here, that his language will disappear when his parents will die. Only he and his daughter will be speaking this dialect they developed living here.
Qt Core: 400 km northern than rome
    Agatha Macbeth: Nearer Turin then?
Qt Core: almost, 100 km east from Torino
Agatha Macbeth: Grazi! I think I'm in the right area now
    Eden Haiku: Grazie mile!
    Qt Core: prego :-)
Agatha Macbeth: My Italian geography is not what it should be sorry
    --BELL--
Eden Haiku: In which city are you in England Agatha?
Agatha Macbeth: Well I live in Staffordshire, about 20 miles west of Birmingham
    Eden Haiku: Thanks.
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Eden Haiku: I like feeling the geographical distances as we are sitting in this pavilion.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes
Agatha Macbeth: People from so far apart yet together
Eden Haiku: It is easier when we are only a few people, to get that feeling.
Eden Haiku: Yes, especially between the bells isn,it? In the silence.
    Agatha Macbeth: Enjoy the Silence
Eden Haiku: Have you heard about this movie called 'Young Victoria', Agatha?
    Agatha Macbeth: Depeche Mode :)
Agatha Macbeth: Young Victoria, i've heard of it
Agatha Macbeth: Haven't watched it tho
Eden Haiku: The director is from Quebec. And it is a Hollywood movie. In the paper this morning he says that Hollywood won't allow much silence in the sound track.
Qt Core: that would be too french as a filming habit ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: They don't like silence in America!
    Eden Haiku: Ye, exactly...;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Still, everyone is different
Qt Core: thanking god yes, agatha
Eden Haiku: Silence is so wonderful. Yet, I'm so talkative! Sighs...
Agatha Macbeth: I suppose out in the middle of Death Valley it gets *very* quiet! :)

    The Rosary

Eden Haiku: We were talking earlier about sinrise (freudian slip) and the fact that we are both Catholic girls...
Qt Core: make that three... cathilic, not girls ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: ;)
Eden Haiku: I like theb fact that you are a cathilic too...Wonder what there is in that slip?
Agatha Macbeth: Shall we all start saing the Rosary then?
    Agatha Macbeth: saying
    Eden Haiku: LOL
Eden Haiku: Yesterday was Virgen of Guadalupe day in Mexico.
Eden Haiku: She is my favorite.
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh right
Eden Haiku: The story is marvelous: it is a Nahualt indian converted
Agatha Macbeth: Where is Guadeloupe is it an island?
Eden Haiku: she appeared to in the mountains near Mexico. His name was Guadalupe, it is not related to the island.
Agatha Macbeth: Can't you tell geography just ain't my subject? :)
Agatha Macbeth: Oh right, I'm with you now
Eden Haiku: No but spelling and grammar are!
    Agatha Macbeth: TY :)
Eden Haiku: The Virgen asked him to build a church for her.
Eden Haiku: But the Bishop would not accept the Nahualt Indian convert's mission unless he would provide a miracle.
Agatha Macbeth: Very big on miracles us catholics!
Eden Haiku: And so she told him to go up the mountain, there were lots of fresh roses (in cold December) to bring as proof.
Eden Haiku: She is pictured surrounded by roses.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, the rose is a symbol of Our Lady
Eden Haiku: I am not sure if you are both guardians, are you?
    Nymf Hathaway: Hello all :)
    Agatha Macbeth: I'm not
    Eden Haiku: Hi Nymf!
