Sat last night, in bed. I was very sleepy, and the sitting was very welcome. It was a very satisfying sitting... stayed and stayed. Nowhere I'd rather be. I didn't combine breaths practice in this one, but rather did those after laying down. Nice.

Thought about doing the meditation in the morning, then forgot again. Ended up doing it just before going to bed.
3 prostrations, standing meditation for 10 mins, 3 prostrations. A good basic form.

Sat briefly before going to bed, much distracted by dental pain.

Today, instead of sitting inside, with my eyes closed, focussing on my breath, I decided to sit outside in the sunshine, focussing on my orange geranium. Breathing quietly, I enjoyed the warmth of the late afternoon sun and the freshness of the breeze on my arms and face and began to feel a deep connection with the flower--also warmed by the sun and cooled by the breeze-- both of us open and welcoming to all comers.

After a confused beginning with the understanding of the 99 (bottles) days, I realize after my tuesday night Tai Chi Class (I attend once a week) that I am a randomly inconsistent if not lax practitioner. I began this morning with a 99 day commitment to practice daily, thank you Wol for your wonderful gift. :)

I just sat doing a breathing exercise. Letting good energy flow into my body while inhaling and cleaning the body from bad energy while exhaling. This was a cleaning of the body, loosening the focus points, opening the narrow thoughts. The image: Falling. Dont struggle. Then bedded on clouds.

I allowed my self to fully receive a hug today. OK.. it was an avatar hug, but I allowed my self to feel it in my RL body. Walking today I kept my feet below my head, and my awareness with the pure feel of whatever touched, whether ground, air, passing plants, temperature changes, but dropping the labels.

On the trail in the woods, feet touching earth that yields softly. Tall bushes and leaves arching overhead form the green way of delight. Air moves over skin. Crows and red squirrels noise around. Later, toward sleeptime, drifting and waking, drifting and waking. All held in its own open clearing, sometimes returned to, sometimes bypassed.
