Meditated in the morning, just after breakfast. Standing meditation.
I didn't write this note until much later in the day, and I seem to have forgotten all particulars of today's meditation. As a matter of fact, I had some trouble remembering if I had meditated at all.
I feel just so inspired by how we all inspire each other, how our various practices encourage each other, even though we do quite different things in different countries and continents and time zones, meeting here on this daily page (including allowing ourselves to seem embarrassing :-). Thank you for being so open, Eliza and all! My morning sit: breathing in, feeling movement of time; breathing out, letting time be, without judgment.
Meditation in class with the words of my teacher telling us to "Let go of... whatever we need to."
New class, many more people, lots of classmates helping classmates with their Tai Chi.... helping each other like here .... smiles edited 03:49, 16 Nov 2011
Writing one day later.
Tai chi class brought me an awareness of the various elements that make up my body. The pulling and pushing of my muscles and joints, my heart beating quckly as I tried to balance on one foot (the golden rooster), blood rushing and pumping down my back, into my hands, and my breath expanding and contracting my abdominal wall. All working somewhat together with my brain, my memory, my ears and eyes. How much to be thankful for. I am all of a piece but at the same time part of something larger. edited 01:50, 17 Nov 2011
