Enjoyed reading yesterdays "tweets" about approaches to practice! And Eos' "resting in original panic" resonated with my own explorations, a kind of tong len breathing in time in its chaotic form and then letting the outbreath be carried more by time in a more peaceful form.

Meditated in the afternoon. Wanted to do standing meditation, but felt a bit weak (like yesterday) so I knelt instead of standing. This is easier on the legs than standing but still gives a good opportunity to focus on posture. It did make may feet numb though.

"Resting in original panic". Now that looks like a good thought to allow into my mind occasionally.

    Question I ask myself today...
Am I noticing/writing in the present tense?
    I am.
A back and forth day...mental ...this and that. Taking it slow...

Morning sitting... so little resistence, just like a frog plopping into a pond...

Sitting meditating after 90 minutes of yoga. Warm, erect, peaceful. Practised Tonglen - first on friends, then acquaintances and and then strangers. Then on myself - the strangest of all. Walked home feeling extaordinarily light and full of hope.

    My split-screen life:

Left side: Hopes, expectations, projections, plans, dreams, ideals.
    Right side: Reality

    Wave or particle?

    Pay attention.

Appreciating "classic" sitting: bottom on cushion, legs loosely crossed, hands on thighs, back straight, eyes softly open; allow / lightly touch / let go thoughts/emotions; come back to light touch on outbreath / let go out. Being sentient human.

Sat in SL with Bertram's evening meditation, such a nice way to end the week. But again forgot to come back here and write the report.

Took advantage of another beautiful day, may be the last, to do standing meditations and Tai Chi in my backyard slowly dulling the sounds of distant leaf blowers and a neighbor raking. Wonders where those sounds go after what seems like a few seconds of Meditation
