Meditated late in the morning, after PaB guardian duty. I felt the pull of starting other things, but I managed to just start the meditation.

Standing meditation. Light attention on breathing and posture. If a particular body part calls for attention, lightly direct attention there and let the breathing rhythm do its work. In-breath allows alignment up and out, Out-breath allows alignment down and in.

Just arrived in Amsterdam. Nice to be back in my (original) home country, for a change, instead of my more regular visits to both of my other (adopted) home countries, the U.S. and Japan. :-) It's still Dec. 5, like at the time of my previous entry (in Japan I was running a day ahead of y'all). So no new morning for me, but during the long flight over Northern Siberia I did some quiet sitting in the plane, staying with an appreciation of the presence of appearance.
I was waving from the plane to the Berlin group . . . wish I could have joined you! Thanks for sharing those reports. edited 19:38, 5 Dec 2011

Late evening short meditation followed by Tai Chi (proceeded by eating fresh brownies, something I may make a habit of the next few days). Tai Chi felt like a disappearing act.. moving from the distraction of reality into the quiet of the mind, never expected it to arrive but welcomed comfortably more and more. The breathing offers the mind a cloud of clarity that hangs around you where you see everything in the cloud and everything else is... somewhere else
