Meditated right after breakfast. Standing meditation. Did the starting and concluding prostrations as slowly as possible.

welcome back Aph! And after I read Lucinda's "attempts to tune in The Fabric of the Cosmos" I remembered many forms of practice along those lines, Taoist and otherwise. "Going with the flow" is a more modern, though now a bit dated, expression. And like all expressions, it can be used in inspiring ways as well as in superficial or downright discouraging ways. Today, the first few hours, I "went with the flow" and it worked amazingly well, just to let each moment carry me, like surfing the waves of time, whatever each moment presented. edited 20:41, 3 Nov 2011

Eight minutes. Started out calmly, then found myself reliving annoyances from the day. Dropped my needing-to-react-to-them and just let them float past. Finished up calm again. Good.

Spontaneous sittings.
Early, for variation of 'recliner sit' ala Bruce, just quiet on the living room sofa...
Another, in a field of wildflowers overlooking a vast blue ocean, ala SL :-)...
55 breaths practice a bit like 55 sittings...
Meaningful session this morning.
Clarifications, easings, integrations, thankfulness. Taking a leap.

I offer up a piece of the Ottawa Valley
in a place called Carp
where there stands a little wood
with a river running through it
onto which golden leaves
fall on dark water.
I stand between earth and sky
staring into the upside down world. edited 05:30, 4 Nov 2011

Recliner sit: One way to understand "grace" is to see it as a reciprocal relationship between a firm thing and a yielding thing. . .
as in a dance. . .
and as wind blows across the wheat fields...
and as a fish swims up-stream. edited 15:00, 4 Nov 2011

Settled into a short meditation prior to class (2x this week) Felt my mind clear... fog lifting, emptiness filling with each breath... worked on last move learned to prep for class. Class was nice, thursday is not my typical day but used it as I missed a class last week. Many more people, did some nice Chi Gong moves after class meditation. Teacher handed me a book on Chinese medicine to peruse at home, nice of her. I invited her to the SL iChing discussion in SL w/ Pila last Tuesday. She was perplexed... Im sure it will be a nice discussion when it happens, as was the yoga discussion with Santoshima and Pila regarding the Chinese "Chi" and Hindu "Shakti"
