Posted a belated Art of Being CHAIR-ity project this morning... nothing like first intended and awkwardly out of time. Perfect! Beware 'Never too late' advice given easily to others... comes back to bite, and beware wall shadow muse suggestions of less serious takings of one's self and of time. :)

/me giggles to post at the same moment (a moment ago) with Eden... spontaneous droplet 'out of place'. edited 13:49, 17 Oct 2011

Welcome back, Wol ! Nice to let your mind play, watching the various wild animals. I was intrigued by the notion of calling them back, so I experimented with a few ways of doing so myself. It is really interesting, isn't it, that we can't seem to notice when we get lost in thought, but we do notice when we "get back" (or "call back") a while later.

    Feeling can be contagious...
After singing my boundaries are more permeable.
    Feeling tension...
Yet it it is only tangentially about me.

Recliner sit: Sensing what's happening with myself - how I know where parts of my body are, for example. "Proprioception" -- I looked it up but found only references to physical/spatial awareness of oneself.
Thanks to Wol and Pema for pointing out a vitally important proprioceptive detail. (I'm expanding the word's meaning to include watching one's own shifting ability to sense one's own thoughts.)
In the Original Face group this afternoon, I watched my thoughts swirling like autumn leaves, and I watched my non-swirling mind watching. edited 01:22, 18 Oct 2011

Thank you for your warm wishes for my father's improvement, he was better than ever today, starting to be back to his old self mentally.

Tai Chi in the office today, the moves came back in their appropriate order, always a good thing when doing an ordered meditation. They were putting in water lines out side digging into the street with loud heavy equipment (think jackhammers).... thoughts of white noise joined with me and the sounds as I did my Tai Chi form without distraction :)

"After singing my boundaries are more permeable." I love that Cinda.
I reach through the permeable boundary and pat your back. edited 04:16, 18 Oct 2011
