Today when looking at the previous day, I resonated with Eden's haiku, so in return I am writing about my very first experience of having a typhoon passing straight over Kobe, my current place of living in Japan:

Today the morning was too busy for meditating (we had visitors), so I used a few minutes I had in the afternoon. I got disturbed at about two thirds of the time. Thought about whether I should count that as a half-meditation, and decided 10 minutes is short enough to try and do it in full. I did so about an hour later.
I noticed it is easy to go from relaxed eyes to staring eyes - they are both "unseeing" in a way, yet they are totally different. Going back to relaxed does take some effort.
Knew that I wouldn't have time for a proper sitting this morning or evening (final day of guests, leaving tomorrow morning early) so tried the Nines during the day at random times. Found it very calming, centering; it was a day of distraction and disruption anyway so I wasn't as perturbed by the Nines' "interruption" as previuosly.
GPS like, awareness of body... letting body look, inside and out.. all one side. Blips on the radar, passing with trays of phenomena, earth touched, a bell back to being.. here inhabiting another step. Shoulders roll back, head aligns with gravity, in a way that breaks old fable induced posture. Breathing and visualization before sleep. Morning dream asked into first waking thoughts.. body chimed in. edited 01:46, 3 Sep 2011
Seems we are operating in parallel universes where time has a doppelganger. I feel a little lightheaded as I move at the speed of light from one day to the next and find myself in the same place. Wheeeee edited 01:59, 3 Sep 2011
Beginning today (Day 1), I will discover and explore the "resonance," "reciprocity," and "mutuality" of myself with the setting in which I live. By opening my senses each day to the physical objects in my environment, I will enter into a sympathetic relationship with the "perceived." I will invite familiar objects to express themselves directly to my senses and intuition. Through this mutual interaction and engagement, I seek not only "instructions" for mindful maintenance of "my property" but also its re-enchantment. I will take 15 to 30 minutes each day to listen to what the objects in my environment want from me. I will then respond accordingly and, finally, record each day's experiences in this 99-Days wiki.
Whups, posted today's tomorrow! I've been using the droplet app a lot, as a trick pony. It needs to make a pause, too. Meanwhile still settling into a pre-sleep form that seems right.
