Triggered by Eliza's comment yesterday, I tried again Eos' droplet. I was the only one, in the wee hours of the SLT night. I then followed up on O's Shantideva suggestion, and found the following quote toward the end of the first chapter: "How can one measure the merit of the jewel of the mind, which is the seed of the world's joy and is the remedy for the world's suffering?". For a while I sat in appreciation of Mind.
Recliner reverie -
- as gentle rain outside these windows tickles each leaf into laughing:
Sublime receptivity.
Poised in acceptance of whatever droplets come.
Each surprise a fresh cleansing.
Joyous rain rebirth.
Rose 10 minutes earlier to meditate. Tried combining it with light-therapy. Not a good interaction - the light is too overwhelming for the subtleties of meditation. It's a pity, because they are both ideally done as early as possible. Will have to keep on combining light-therapy with breakfast.
No walk. Noticing transitions as space and time in between, in the middle, already there. Pushing the door open. Hand moving. This dropped, that not yet picked up. Thank you space. Thank you time.
Meditation in the office,Office-mate walked into the room and chatted during my warm up.. 50 stretches, later in bed, I visualized my movements, and breathing deeply.. fell quietly asleep
